Yes a lot of new players who talk about Rita fall don’t play the titan modes. Respond needs to put work into the Titans. We don’t want the counter strike crowd to dictate how this game plays by focusing on only the pilots.
The whole class dynamic wasn't my favorite, but I think no shields really screwed over the titan experience. I love Ronin to death but survival is basically impossible since the first engagement is basically guaranteed to rip half your health away. Just no survivability. Not entirely worth using.
im pretty sure everyone wants that first person embarkment with their titan again. Makes them feel more like a badass as they hop into their best friend kneeling before them ready to fight as one, or side by side behind enemy lines.
@@patientboat1979 They could have other things third person, like when the enemy or you drop in, or one thing they 100% should do is be able to toggle between first or third person in the settings
I'd like the windows to have glass you need to melee and smash to get through, just to make the game world seem more real. I like the small details that makes a game seem more alive.
Integrating advanced movement in the campaign as a necessary tool for succeeding in COMBAT will help a lot of people make the transition from campaign to multi-- and therefore keep the game alive for months and years. For example, they could introduce enemies that have lock on weapons, but which cannot track you if your speed stays above a certain value. Or even literal "the floor is lava" fights where you are engaging enemies, but take damage if your feet touch the ground. Hell, even more advanced stuff like bunny hopping could have specific scenarios designed around it--- like maybe a fight that takes place in shallow water which slows you down, but you can maintain your speed by skipping across the surface of the water. Of course all of these techniques could be introduced in non-combat platforming sections, and then later mixed into combat so that players have a chance to learn and understand. My overall point is that the more the campaign encourages advanced movement, the more players will be able to transition into multiplayer. TF2 is funny, because the campaign has mostly hitscan enemies, and while going fast makes them less likely to hit you, you don't NEED to do it except on the highest difficulty. You can just play like it's CoD or Halo. If they instead reinforced the "go fast or die" message much more strongly in the campaign, things would be better. Also don't launch in between two other massive FPS titles.
The core game play is perfect. I would love to see more maps like we did post launch. Along with more titans and more customization and maybe even more pilots as well.
Not sure if anyone will actually see this but here goes My thoughts on it is they wouldn't need to nuke the movement to Get more people to love it. All they'd rally need to do is the following: -have two gamemodes: A normal one where the gameplay loop is similar to apex And a Hardcore one where everything is similar to Titanfall 2 -expand on PvE game modes like bring back frontier defense as a way to lvl up your titan Have a rogue like survival Gamemode where you can play as IMC/apex predator or Militia/angel city ace/6-4. Pilots being stranded on IMC/militia controlled planets and you have to fight your way through IMC/militia forces (adds and 3 bosses) finding your gear and abilities as well as eventually getting a ship to get off world to get back to your home world. Could be used as an alternative way to lvl up your pilot/weapons Then have a semi-open world mode where you play as your Pilot traveling between militia/IMC/Crime syndicate controlled planets doing mission and learning both sides of the war seeing the events that led the war ending and your character eventually finding and joining the Apex games. During that game mode you have your own pilot ans titan with own name as well as your Pilot being able to use two different pilot Abilities, a primary/secondary weapon, melee weapon(or anorher gun) and an anti-titan weapon. Being able to play through this mode and grind out for skins, weapon attachments, new executions, new sub abilities and new ordinances. As well aa have titan only boss fights and missions that let you gwt cosmetics or pieces for your titan that gives it special stat/Ability boosts or add new affects to your titan. And if you choose to should let you enable being invaded by enemy plilots trying to collect a bounty on your head. Im just spitballing here. PLEASE for the love of God have an open mind because constantly shooting down each other's concepts without even looking at it from a different perspective is why Devs never wanna listen tonthe community
I also think more PvE game modes like frontier defense (with bosses etc) with a lot more progression would lure new players in and help them improve so they stand a better chance against other pilots. The campaign was great and wouldn't mind getting another one, but co-op PvE has better longevity I think
The movement has to be curbed a bit, no doubt, but instead of completely nuking it I think it would be better to lean more on the player vs AI aspect of the game. In the design book of Titanfall there was a mention that they didn't want it to be too obvious that the grunts are actually AI, mostly trough visuals, but I think it's one of those things that got lost in the sequel.
One aspect of titanfall 2 that I absolutely loved, is that the game is hard and doesn't attract a lot of smooth brains, and there is also no characters with huge booties or boobies, which means even tough the playerbase remains small, the majority of it are great people.
Ive been playing tf2 since it came out and I finished the games campaign on master mode about 20 mins ago and i still cried at the end when bt destroyed the ark and im so happy that you got my back into tf2 iniquity. Thank you so much
No, that was actually a screenshot from a massive community concept project that showed the communities pitches to what titanfall 3 would look like, including hud changes, menu changes, new customization changes, and of course new Titan concepts. The one in the thumbnail was the "Venom" titan concept, think more anti-pilot Scorch titan
Maybe Respawn saw how TF2 blew up in popularity on that day, and decided that instead of making a new game, they would put everything into TF2. New campaign, more maps, more weapons, new Titans, etc. Just add an entire games worth of content into TF2. That’s what I’m hoping for at least
We need skill based matchmaking, expending titan abilities, and giving them conditional modifier and cooldown cards like in paladins (like ability refresh after execution, dealing damage with thermite reducing incindiary trap cooldown)
They don't need to nerf the movement, they only need to match people accordingly to their skills... Both in normal games and ranked ones. They also need to add a lot more customization... I guess that covers it. Great video as always!
I don’t want them to change the movement but they might lower it to a point between the movement in Apex and the movement in TF2. A better release date and more content to grind for would help on its own. Plus most people that play Apex will prob play TF3. But to make them stay playing, I don’t think it can have as big of a skill gap as TF2. Sad but true tbh.
I'm gonna be honest, I don't think they will nuke the movement but make it easier to do and require less skill to get into. Although it lowers the skill ceiling a little bit it could lower the skill floor which would probably be good for the game in the long run.
I love titan fall 2 and hope they add more things to titan fall 3 and do nothing with the core things of titan fall personally I would have a great game but a smaller player base
Nerfing the movement wouldn't necessarily be a bad move, it'd just be about adjusting it to be more accessible. If balanced right, this could maintain a high skill ceiling while still allowing the game to be playable to a wider audience, which is what I think it needs. Only potential problem I see is muscle memory from TF2's movement being thrown out the window with a new system, but even so, that's a pretty temporary inconvenience.
GIven how hungry EA is for that cash, and how skins, emotes, and a battle pass have (Unfortunately) become a part of gaming culture of today, I honestly think that it may somewhat boost Tf3. Definitely not going to be a leading factor in it's success, but a part that will draw in players. Kinda how it is with battle royal games like Apex, Fortnite, warzone, etc. have become.
@@austinligid9626 I really hope they dont straight up delete advocate gifts just to add a item shop that costs as much as valorant skins. Also there is no way they are going to put emotes in the game. You never get time to dance in Titanfall 2
Fun fact iniquity, when your titan receives damage from an enemy titans dome shield the damage indicator point to the pilot not the titan. You can use this to see which direction a pilot is going to approach their titan from.
At 5:39 you can see the damage tick point to the ground directly in front of the shielded titan because the pilot was one of those 2 players you killed right before. At 5:47 another damage tick prompts and points directly ahead at the newly respawned player.
@@IniquityGames of course, you taught me how to grapple. Keep up the great content. And i think the biggest issue with tf2 was in big part to its launch. But i think titanfall 3 would gain good traction in replayability and user friendlines by expanding on frontier defense making more interactive or coop missions with your friends. Everyone sees a first person shooter these days and thinks competitive but i miss old school halo and when firefight first came out how much fun it was to spend hours killing waves of covenant eith my friends. And i would love to have more of that in Titanfall 3. I think that would bring a lot more people to the fold and maybe partisan the community a little into one a more casual group and another more competitive. Just my thoughts.
Sup Derek! Thanks for the shout out on my project. Great video and good thoughts. I would love for them to keep the movement obviously, but they would need to double down on the TRAINING modules and education for new players. The Gauntlet won't suffice. Give is training modes with infinite grapple charges to practice, for example. I'll leave you with this: when TF2 was announced I thought it was going to be lame since I had invested so much into TF1. Now, I can say they made some really great decisions overall to make TF2 a better game. There's nothing to say that we could be saying the same thing about TF3/TF2. - Nathan Beasley
I think that they should get rid of high damage titan cores. Being a new player and having a new titan destroyed by one person almost instantly is super discouraging.
I believe they will just nerf the movement a little bit in titan fall 3 and the only reason titanfall 2 did a bit bad was because it was released at the worst time possible.
Make pilot v Titan easier for new players, I often find with my friends that don’t like titanfall much it’s because they don’t like getting shat on by tones
They should have a mandatory tutorial you have to play before playing multiplayer, similar to titanfall 1 and how they did the tutorial, parts for wall-running, combat, titans, and just surviving through hell lmao
Playing since launch, the only thing I think the game needs is a small change to attrition. In maybe 1/10 games, one team just gets rammed by titans, 7 players in titans on one team, none on the other, and the gap just grows and it becomes impossible to compete. This isn't such a problem on longer-range maps like homestead or Colony where you can pick at titans from afar, but holy sht it's a damn nightmare if this happens to you on complex. Titan around every corner, few areas where you can really pick at them from afar, pilot movement limited due to corridors, small hallways limit titan movement making them clump up a lot, etc. Idk how they would fix this but it has scared off a lot of my friends who I introduced to the game. Either that or they just stick to titan-less modes because of it.
To me it doesn't make sense for them to Nerf the movement they know that's what makes the game great because the game was built up with the movement in mind
I think TF3 needs a match making that gives new players more time to get accustomed to the movement somehow. That may require a larger player base but if new comers can slowly face more movement skilled players they'll probably stock around a lot longer.
Makes me sad still how this game didn't get the player base it deserved but games like cod and 2k can release trash every year and get millions of players. This is the best fps game I've ever played. Campaign was phenomenal. BT such a sad story :( And the multiplayer. The titan gameplay was perfection, the pilot gameplay as well. The game modes were all so good. Ugh lol. We need a tf3 one day.
I think other than a better release date and different titan mechanics and slight changes to each pilot and titan classes all that we could get is maybe a ranked playlist and possibly a few new game modes
I hope to god they don’t nuke movement and they add even more tools to play around with for the movement system. And include the titans themselves in that upgrade and find some innovative ways to make them as fluid and fun as the titans. I also hope they maintain the light hero shooter classes with the titans but add more customization to the titans, kind’ve a bridge between TF1 and 2.
I just had an idea as if your playing a game mode with titans that you can pick a role for the team so you can either be a pilot or a titan and when a pilot jumps on they can restock ammo and give you a battery or if your playing with a friend then that friend can embark when you are playing as the titan and restock or give you a battery. That was like a idea that I just thought about minutes before writing this so it's not a finished idea but a start.
As for my personal asks: - Make titans a bit harder to get so it feels more rewarding when you get into one. - Full gunsmith system a la MW 2019 - More tacticals - More customisation options for titans - Adjustments to gun recoil to make it less random so you have a skill gap.
@@dez-m Exactly, you could even have alternatives to the sword and thermite launcher like an axe or a fire shotgun. I don't know but definitely something to improve gameplay variety with the titans, as it is now you always know what to expect when you see a scorch for instance.
I definitely think that they should do some adjustments to the movement but I think a nuke to the movement overall would be overkill, like making some of the movement a bit easier to deal with would be ideal such as the grapple. To this day I still don't understand the grapple. Another thing would be like adjusting walls and such so that you don't clip an edge or something and lose all of your momentum. Other than the movement I'd love to see a bit more titan customization, not as much as T1 but like having each titan kit on each chassis and each of those being almost a different titan but with the same kits. AE: -Scorch being on the ogre chassis, -But then having like Ember on an atlas chassis with a primary weapon that does essentially the same thing as the thermite launcher but smaller, the shots burn quicker, and there's maybe like 3-4 shots. still has the flame shield and that stays the same for each chassis, the gas cans are now like a cluster bomb with a single charge, and the fire wall is now shorter but wider. -And then on the Stryder chassis we get Spark the primary is basically an smg that shoots firestars, the gas can is now a smaller self-igniting gas can, and the firewall maybe just starts leaving fire as you move even with dashes. I'm sure this would be a lot of work and probably won't happen but I'd think it would be pretty cool and give more of a variety to what you'd have to play with and against.
I have a feeling Respawn is going to make Titanfall 3 have the same movement as Titanfall 2 to reel in our audience as well as put in game modes as a pilot so that people who play apex feel welcome too.
I’m pretty sure they’ll change up TF3s mechanics somehow to be something in between Apex and COD, and us TF2 fans won’t like it cause we’ll miss the fluidity of TF2. But who knows, I’m just talking out of my ass rn lol thanks for the video brother! Keep up the good work!
I feel like if titanfall 3 would suceed, they'd probably need to keep the original titans or their abilities in a new titan. The only way I could possibly see them keeping this movement system is to base matchmaking off of time spent playing and numbers like average shots hit per total shots, average damage per game, and average pilot speed so people can play with people their skill. And just incase this increases match time like crazy, they could have a gamemode that doesnt have this skill filter.
@@oskarnunemacher2338 yeah that sounds like a good idea Causal mode you can play and unlock things like in titanfall 2, every titan, every weapon, etc In competitive mode you can unlock everything in casual mode plus maybe some rarer paint jobs for things by doing achivements like getting enough kills or something else
-Davis & Droz as a playable faction -Holopilot’s holos to work just like Mirages -hi fiveing MRVN -More phase shift -Movement is already based -Apex’s weapons -TF1 smart pistol -maps with high walls and low buildings -more gauntlets -being able to switch between 1st & 3rd person for executions and embarking -an awesome campaign And the stoic light skin (aaaaaaand maybe supernova XD) That’s all I can think of
Add more personal customization such as helmets, chest pieces, shoulder pads, visor colors, emblemes etc edit: but without any of that battlepass bs, you can unlock those customization with maybe credits or unlock them as you rank up
What needs to change? A scorch with a giant double barrel thermite launcher and replacing his ultimate from creating thermite on the ground from smashing it to scorch loading op rounds when ultimate is activated, rounds that leave a big amount of thermite leaking onto the ground from its projectile deals more damage over time if his ultimate rounds are a direct hit.
bring back titan timer until drop, more titan customization, more types of pilots based off movement (the game aint the same unless you are grapple or stim), maybe more weapons and you got a perfect game
I want change with titans in mode where pilots are too. not sure what to change but something this way. what I think they will do? I don't know what they can change expect weapons and maybe calsses
I was thinking about a weapon progression system , as pilots increase their level more and more , certain weapons will get locked . I'm saying this as a gen 4 pilot who has seen gen 100.59 pilots using the spitfire.

The whole class dynamic wasn't my favorite, but I think no shields really screwed over the titan experience. I love Ronin to death but survival is basically impossible since the first engagement is basically guaranteed to rip half your health away. Just no survivability. Not entirely worth using.
Honestly should change the Titans. They’re too strong compared to pilots for us to get em that often
@@yourunclejohn I don’t think they’re really broken but their mechanics should definitely be changed
I love this game. I really hope the community embraces 3
im pretty sure everyone wants that first person embarkment with their titan again. Makes them feel more like a badass as they hop into their best friend kneeling before them ready to fight as one, or side by side behind enemy lines.

Not sure if anyone will actually see this but here goes
My thoughts on it is they wouldn't need to nuke the movement to Get more people to love it.
All they'd rally need to do is the following:
-have two gamemodes:
A normal one where the gameplay loop is similar to apex
And a Hardcore one where everything is similar to Titanfall 2
-expand on PvE game modes like bring back frontier defense as a way to lvl up your titan
Have a rogue like survival Gamemode where you can play as IMC/apex predator or Militia/angel city ace/6-4. Pilots being stranded on IMC/militia controlled planets and you have to fight your way through IMC/militia forces (adds and 3 bosses) finding your gear and abilities as well as eventually getting a ship to get off world to get back to your home world. Could be used as an alternative way to lvl up your pilot/weapons
Then have a semi-open world mode where you play as your Pilot traveling between militia/IMC/Crime syndicate controlled planets doing mission and learning both sides of the war seeing the events that led the war ending and your character eventually finding and joining the Apex games.
Thank you so much
To encourage new players maybe add a ranked mode? So new players can be matched with other new players and they won’t get stomped by G100 pilots
Is that thumbnail a necron titan? Iniquity you dirty heretic I love it.
Necrons have titans?
How long have i been sleeping?
Maybe Respawn saw how TF2 blew up in popularity on that day, and decided that instead of making a new game, they would put everything into TF2. New campaign, more maps, more weapons, new Titans, etc. Just add an entire games worth of content into TF2. That’s what I’m hoping for at least
Wait did I miss something did the release that TF3 will be coming out?!
nah it's just that there's a lot of rumours that say TF3 is in development, no official statement from respawn or anything
I hope so
You missed alot. Respawn has full clearance for devdevelopment. Therefore titan fall 3 will most likely come out
We need skill based matchmaking, expending titan abilities, and giving them conditional modifier and cooldown cards like in paladins (like ability refresh after execution, dealing damage with thermite reducing incindiary trap cooldown)
Skill based is bullshit. Mixed lobbies are great. I don’t want to be punished for being good
I really hope they don't nuke the movement but they could change a few things
9:03 i imagine you saying the line "THEY'RE TRYING TO CORNER US"
IF TF3 happens (HEAVY on the if) it's likely not going to be the same game
They don't need to nerf the movement, they only need to match people accordingly to their skills... Both in normal games and ranked ones. They also need to add a lot more customization...
I guess that covers it.
Great video as always!
I don’t want them to change the movement but they might lower it to a point between the movement in Apex and the movement in TF2. A better release date and more content to grind for would help on its own. Plus most people that play Apex will prob play TF3. But to make them stay playing, I don’t think it can have as big of a skill gap as TF2. Sad but true tbh.
So basically a ranked mode for shitters like apex players so they don't get placed against us veterans who'll all be placed in the top 5%
those tap strafes
Day 37 of asking iniquity to use 6:6 sens
What needs to change for titanfall 3 to succeed?? - gets released
love the titan action
I'm gonna be honest, I don't think they will nuke the movement but make it easier to do and require less skill to get into. Although it lowers the skill ceiling a little bit it could lower the skill floor which would probably be good for the game in the long run.
I love titan fall 2 and hope they add more things to titan fall 3 and do nothing with the core things of titan fall personally I would have a great game but a smaller player base
1:13 For those unaware, Bryonato is a TF|2 speedrunnner. I think he holds the record for full game speedrun rn
No spitfire
I would like to choose our own colors for the titans abilities like a green flame scorch and maybe diffrent pve and airship pvp?
They just need to release it.
They just need many micro transactions with a battle pass and a battle royale and it will succeed.
(Joke)
@@uncle1sstvan This is awesome info! Thank you
@@IniquityGames of course, you taught me how to grapple.
That's s bad idea, maybe tone is hated but tone is tone for a reason, it's made as a pilot control, that's why it's the way it is
They should have a mandatory tutorial you have to play before playing multiplayer, similar to titanfall 1 and how they did the tutorial, parts for wall-running, combat, titans, and just surviving through hell lmao
The AI at the last second of the intro:
*Oh FUC-*
What they really need is a good release date so it doesn't get sandwiched between 2 other releases
As for my personal asks:
- Make titans a bit harder to get so it feels more rewarding when you get into one.
- Full gunsmith system a la MW 2019
- More tacticals
- More customisation options for titans
- Adjustments to gun recoil to make it less random so you have a skill gap.
More customization options for titans but keep the class system. More swords for Ronin and more Thermite Launchers for Scorch for example!
@@dez-m Exactly, you could even have alternatives to the sword and thermite launcher like an axe or a fire shotgun. I don't know but definitely something to improve gameplay variety with the titans, as it is now you always know what to expect when you see a scorch for instance.
With the whole “UNKNOWN” name thing, does it make Titan healthbar invisible?
I definitely think that they should do some adjustments to the movement but I think a nuke to the movement overall would be overkill, like making some of the movement a bit easier to deal with would be ideal such as the grapple. To this day I still don't understand the grapple. Another thing would be like adjusting walls and such so that you don't clip an edge or something and lose all of your momentum. Other than the movement I'd love to see a bit more titan customization, not as much as T1 but like having each titan kit on each chassis and each of those being almost a different titan but with the same kits.
AE: -Scorch being on the ogre chassis,
-But then having like Ember on an atlas chassis with a primary weapon that does essentially the same thing as the thermite launcher but smaller, the shots burn quicker, and there's maybe like 3-4 shots. still has the flame shield and that stays the same for each chassis, the gas cans are now like a cluster bomb with a single charge, and the fire wall is now shorter but wider.
Spitfire nerf!
Edit: The vortex shield is too good btw, luckily it's on the most Mediocre titan in the game and not another titan
One thing they need to do. Make a tutorial on slide hopping and advanced tactics when you first play the game like tf1
I have a feeling Respawn is going to make Titanfall 3 have the same movement as Titanfall 2 to reel in our audience as well as put in game modes as a pilot so that people who play apex feel welcome too.
Maybe change the weapons system, and the Titan variety. Other than that I hope that they keep the same movement. Love it all!
unknowns teammates everytime they die: 🤬😟😠😡🤬👿💢💢💢
Like a casual mode and a competitive mode.
@@oskarnunemacher2338 yeah that sounds like a good idea
Causal mode you can play and unlock things like in titanfall 2, every titan, every weapon, etc
In competitive mode you can unlock everything in casual mode plus maybe some rarer paint jobs for things by doing achivements like getting enough kills or something else
-Davis & Droz as a playable faction
-Holopilot’s holos to work just like Mirages
-hi fiveing MRVN
-More phase shift
-Movement is already based
-Apex’s weapons
-TF1 smart pistol
-maps with high walls and low buildings
-more gauntlets
-being able to switch between 1st & 3rd person for executions and embarking
-an awesome campaign
And the stoic light skin (aaaaaaand maybe supernova XD) That’s all I can think of
They’re probably going to remove slide hopping and make sprinting fast but also add some sort of directional dash like doom eternals of halo 5
From looking at apex,I am almost certain advocate gifts will advocate packs and cost real money
Add more personal customization such as helmets, chest pieces, shoulder pads, visor colors, emblemes etc
edit: but without any of that battlepass bs, you can unlock those customization with maybe credits or unlock them as you rank up
yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes why can't respawn do this
What needs to change? A scorch with a giant double barrel thermite launcher and replacing his ultimate from creating thermite on the ground from smashing it to scorch loading op rounds when ultimate is activated, rounds that leave a big amount of thermite leaking onto the ground from its projectile deals more damage over time if his ultimate rounds are a direct hit.
My friend didn’t want to get it because of the release date and it having a small player base and was worried about wait time
bring back being able to customize your titan!!
Having the titans being customizable weapons wise is a bad idea, it would be better if they could do stuff like monarch customization
Love all the new video’s recently
bring back titan timer until drop, more titan customization, more types of pilots based off movement (the game aint the same unless you are grapple or stim), maybe more weapons and you got a perfect game
I want change with titans in mode where pilots are too. not sure what to change but something this way. what I think they will do? I don't know what they can change expect weapons and maybe calsses
I feel like they might tighten up the movement a little
What if there was a titan that could control/use the Medusa Vines
If the movement was nerfed, why would anyone play Titanfall 3? It's what makes this game special
What if they put the cod gunsmith system into tf3
I would love this personally, and Black Op's Pick 10 loadout system
I thought my screen froze
What if they made it take place before tf1 in the titan wars?
I was thinking about a weapon progression system , as pilots increase their level more and more , certain weapons will get locked . I'm saying this as a gen 4 pilot who has seen gen 100.59 pilots using the spitfire.
