Layering wood Neroli with Terrae essence works so so well, gives a really unique scent, 8-12 hours longevity easy, Bvlgari man in black is still the King.
Blind bought it, very much regret it. Def an EDP concentration and I feel like my grandma could smell like this. I'm 35 and I feel it's not age appropriate for ME.
I got wood neroli, and it smells fantastic. Projection is not much, unless there is a bit of a breeze around, but I can smell it on myself the whole day
I lucked out several years ago, I "ACCIDENTALLY" ordered 3 bottles of Black Orient on a discounter. I was surprised when the package arrived and had to go back and check my order, but decided it was too much trouble to bother sending it back - especially since I only paid about $55 per bottle. Not long afterwards, they were discontinued and I was happy about my order. Black orient is a probably the best of the whole line.
I have all the Essence line and Man in Black. I love all their personalities. Terrae is the best if you want a Dry, Earthy, Alpha Male vibe. There is nothing sweet about it. It's Just awesome.
I hated Terrae when I first got it and just shelved it. A friend asked me if he could spray some of it on when we were heading out once and I ended up loving it when I smelled it on someone else. Not sure now why I hated it at first.
So, so glad you did this one. You pointed out what usually happens when you have such a successful line: Original gets overlooked and forgotten about. The original EDT here is very solid with good performance for a EDT on its own. The other ones seem to follow the class this line has. For me it's mature and just good. When you see the flankers they don't just shit out releases that are garbage. Like Polo did. I tried to follow the Polo color number line for awile and they never once released a B- or better scent. But you really do these lines good and your style has led me to almost perfect buying satisfaction rate. For that I truly thank you. I got some gems and good collection finally approaching 40 with Gucci Guilty Absolute and Guilty Oud on the way. They were daring fragrances no one just buys and they soooo should.

I asked my GF to buy me bvgari black but she came back with terrae essence, i was a bit disappointed and didnt really like the scent as i waanted a freshie sort of smell, so i put it away for a few months. Then i decided i was just going to use up the bottle to not let it go to waste over the winter. I'm so glad i did, because my god do i love the smell now. I get a earthly/woody/manly fruity berry like smell from it, i dont know where the smell of berrys come from but thats what i get from it for some reason. I like the whole bvgari line as i think they all smell nice, just got wood neroli for the coming summer but when i compare it to terrae essence... i dunno, its just not as good. Will buy man in black and have a look for extreme on my next buys

My answer may be slightly biased as I only own wood neroli (tried all 3 though). And from my experience I can safely say that wood neroli is the strongest projecting scent with glacial essence being the most discrete of the 3
9:20 the thing with the atomizers is that you have to press them the right way. If you don't go all the way down, or a little bit to one side, or too slow, it shoots a super narrow shitty spray. If you hit them right tho, they are pretty good. I'd still agree that they are crappy, because it's kinda hard to get it right. You at least gotta be paying attention.

That's what makes this world of fragrance so interesting, people's different takes on things, and btw, I still definately trust your nose for the most part. Saying that, I gotta say that I haven't smelled all of the fragrances from this line, but I have owned and currently own quite a few. First, the ones I agree with, Wood Neroli (WINNER! It's a great summer banger, but ya damn well better LOVE Neroli if you're gonna get this one because it's STRONG! I actually sold mine but kept the mini I got with it and actually prefer Dunhill Icon or Banana Republic Neroli Woods as my go to Neroli frags), Wood Essence (WINNER! However, this one can be cloying if oversprayed or worn in high heat.) Man In Black (WINNER! However, I sold mine because I think Cremo Spice And Black Vanilla is actually a better fragrance and a helluva lot cheaper.) Now for the ones I disagree with. First up, Glacial Essence...YUCK!! I spent $70 on that swill and thank God I recovered my money on it! Bro, come on, that crap smells like someone took some oranges and mixed em with hairspray and that smell you get when your girl is getting a home perm! Great bottle definitely, but that stuff is AWFUL to my nose! The second one that I disagree with you on is Black Cologne. It's actually my absolute FAVORITE that I've owned and it's actually funny that it turned out to be my first introduction to the "Man" line. I find it to be completely unique from anything else that I've smelled actually. For me it's also a good year round fragrance. Even though it is somewhat fresh, it's got enough body to still present itself in cooler weather. Maybe not the best on bitterly cold days, but in that case I just spray a little more and I'm good! It lasts a good bit of time on me as well, even though it's an EDT. At any rate, I am VERY much looking forward to getting Terrae Essence once it hits that $50 sweet spot, plus the original and Man Extreme have been on my radar for quite a while. One last thing my friend, Alberto Morillas actually created the majority, if not all of the fragrances in the Man line, that's why most of em ROCK!! I found man in black tester bottles for $35 each. Bought 2. Didn't want to pay $90 for for bottle with original box. $35 is great buy for bulgari black and it's real. Friend gave me bulgari man edt bcz he doesn't use Cologne and he saw I was in to Colognes. Gave it to my father. It's more for man in 50 or 60. I'm too young for that

For colder days, go for wood essence. It's the most suitable one for fall although it's versatile enough to use for spring and summer. Just don't over spray in summer.
I feel you’re mainly reviewing openings. Bvlgari Man Extreme has an extremely shaving-creamy drydown that I find offensive. It also has nothing to do with the opening. It takes about 30-45 mins to come out on my skin. Although I love the amazing opening, I really can’t stand this fragrance and I wish i never purchased it.
