Hi, Just curious why Nick chose a Hog guitar over Rosewood. It sounds awesome as all of Dana's guitars. The D-28 next to him sounds really good though.
Well this guitar kind of chose him. He was looking for a Bourgeois, more or less just dreaming, and a friend of ours knew a guy that had one for sale. We met him and Nick loved the guitar. The guy took a liking to Nick and wanted him to have the guitar, so he held it for several months while we sold Nick's D-18GE to raise the money. We couldn't have bought it otherwise. He actually loves rosewood guitars and has always wanted one, but for some reason ends up with hog every time. They are each good in their own way. I have a feeling he'll insist on rosewood next time around. But you never know, sometimes the guitar chooses you. The other guitar player is Daniel Thrailkill, great player.
