How would you add another instrument in this keygroup without changing the original sound. I want to be able to play a different instrument, keep the original instrument, but I would like to know what a new instrument would sound like to match the original sound that I have recorded. Nobody has a video on this please help.
Its the same on the hardware. The menu options are the same the screen just looks a little diffrent. You see'll it once you get in there. You can also sync up to the computer and follow the computer process, and watch the screens change on the MPCX hardware as you go through it.

Assign a sample to a pad, select keygroup, then select that sample, then save it.

Just addd another instrument and select key range. For instance bass might have key range from c0 to b0 and piano from c1 to b1.

Zaytoven uses 16pads for bass
