I also think so, I have ridden this ride last Christmas and I can tell you that this ride is for me nothing without its theming. From the dense theming wich its done with pure perfection to the theme music during the departure and the lifthill, these are a few elements that makes this coaster amazing.
If you go there, I will garantee you an amazing time! The park is not that big, but the rides keep your attention on the park and doesn't make you feel that you are done. And about Taron, I have ridden it only 2 times, and thats not enough for me. :) This ride is absolutely amazing, and as you have seen, this coaster actually has theming, looking at you Six Flags and Cedar Fair xD. The theming makes this coaster a thing wich is almost Fantasy (Phantasialand, did you see what I did there xD) and it makes the coaster much better. If you have ridden and experienced this ride, it makes your mind blow.
Of course there should be more focus on theming than there is now. It can turn a bland ride into an incredible experience, but if there's none, turn a great ride into an uninspired one.
They anounced a launched flying coaster yesterday which is totally awesome - I hope it will interact with the themed area like Black Mamba does. In my opinion, it's making the ride so much better than just a "parking lot" coaster.
The track is exceptionally smooth and quiet and the multiple tunnels and near misses create a very intense experience. The inverted nature of the coaster adds to the fear factor but it's likely to be easier on riders with back problems.
I liked the video and thank you for taking time to respond to a lot of comment I know I enjoy to hear back from you tubers but you are the only one who does it so thank you
+VenomChrono I'm pretty sure that no editing occurred during that live stream! :) It was a very good one though, tune into the next stream in a week. We have a special segment for that week only.
This seems like one of the best B&M inverts out there and one of the best coasters in Europe. I would love more attention to theming. For me, it is not essential, but it highly enhances a ride and can turn a drab coaster into a beautiful one. That being said, I think a coaster NEEDS decent scenery. Coasters like Scream at Six Flags Magic Mountain are basically in the parking lot. Theming should have more of a focus though, especially in the U.S. There are so many corporate parks here that theming falls by the wayside at many parks.
+Skyler Powers I'd love to see more US parks, especially the likes of Six Flags, include more themed elements in their future projects. As you said, it greatly improves the overall experience of the ride.
Black Mamba is just one great example of how Phantasialand uses theming to separate its immersive themed areas. Phantasialand pulls this off in spite of being a small park. I would love to see Knott's Berry Farm utilize the way Phantasialand separates its themed areas. (Cedar Fair, hint, hint...)
With more parks opening over the next few weeks, remember to follow me on Twitter, @Coasterbot. There you will find information about the parks I will be visiting, as well as the exciting new content appearing on the channel in the future!
I love the theming. Even if it's only a little, I wish more parks would put theming, for example maverick. Maverick's theming is not over the top, but imagine how much less fun it would be if it was in a parking lot.
+MaxAndSarah Vlogs Theming improves rides by such an incredible amount. I hope in the future more parks include themed elements, even if it is a small amount.
Great video as always! Can't wait to see "What is: The Smiler"! Also, I am working on a series called Let's Ride! The first one is for Nemesis Inferno and will be released in April! :-)
+SilverCipher Thank you; I can't wait to ride The Smiler! I look forward to seeing what you produce, but please refrain from 'plugging' your channel in the comments.
SilverCipher "When somebody posts a single message on a message board advertising a product or website." - Sorry, should have used correct terms, rather than internet slang.
Nice video! But you didn't mention the real highlight of this ride: The Helices in the end. They are incredibly tight and intense. 4.5 G to be exact. All in all it's a great ride and more intense as the the basic dates suggest. The radii of the elements are sick.
I think that the theming of SAW- The Ride. Is the best I have seen in real life, with the queue going around the warehouse and when u enter it. My favourite little touch is the guy in the room full of needles. Its not too obvious but once you've seen it you can point it out to your friends. (its on the left of the staircase just as you are about to enter the staircase).
+Thepuddbros The Theming of Saw: The Ride is very good. I am glad that Thorpe Park has continued to theme rides to such a high standard, with the likes of The Swarm, and now Derren Brown's Ghost Train.
i am going to phantasialand in april it will be my 11 time its amzanig you shoud make a video about winjas fear and force the 2 indoor spinning coasters in phantasialand
Did you know that the thick main spine of black mamba is filled with sand to quiet the typical b&m roar for a better sound interaction in the queue and surroundings?
A theme park should theme everything or nothing. Also, the ride has to be believably themed and can't greatly stretch people's (or at least the GP's) willingness to believe the theme.
Not really, if theming were the case for Cedar Point then we wouldn't have awesome rides like Maverick because more of that money would be spent on the theme rather than the coaster itself.
To be honest some curves are just to high on G-forces, also I was sitting in the middle of the 4th row and didn't see anything of the scenery and just never knew where I was, that's sad 'cause I wanted to see the coaster through the scenery while I was on it.
Trailers And Movieclips It is a good park, no doubt about that, but it offers only mild rides (non of the larger coasters offer a real thrill), and they can’t seem to make a new ride perfect (they always make at least one giant mistake, mostly awefull que areas, low capacity and such ...). It’s a nice park, but not thát good or well themed as a lot of people claim ...
My only problem with this coaster is that it's so inconsistent. On some rides it runs very smooth while on others it can be a real headbanger. I also feel like one train runs a lot better than the other. Kinda sad about it beacause it was almost perfectly smooth a couple years ago...
It depends. Here half the budget went to theming. In the end that could have payed for an aditional coaster for the park. I think this works so well for phantasialand is because it is pretty small and there simply isn't room for more many big rides. If space isn't a problem i think most people simply prefer more rides over fewer better themed rides
Not really as Black Mamba has a lot of terrain usage which you can really 'take away'. It's made better because of the theming and interaction with the terrain :)
When I wrote this comment, I was using the fact that if you take away this rides theming, it is pretty much a Batman clone. But because of the stellar theming, the ride goes from good to amazing! It's just a testament to how much a ride can benefit from some theming. This was just a little bit of miscommunication from me. :)
Theming should definitely have more presence on thrill rides. This coaster like many B&M inverts makes use of the landscape.
+BlueAxeRacer This is definitely true.
+COASTER BOT can u do a 'what is Batman The Ride St Six Flags Fiesta Texas'.
+Galactic Diamond I'll add it to the list :)
I also think so, I have ridden this ride last Christmas and I can tell you that this ride is for me nothing without its theming. That is what I love about Phantasialand! It takes you to far off places with all your senses!
It definitely does! :)
I think attraction AND theming are very important for me
Wow amazingly themed
Indeed it is!
Of course there should be more focus on theming than there is now. It can turn a bland ride into an incredible experience, but if there's none, turn a great ride into an uninspired one.
+CoasterCritique This is very true.
CoasterCritique Totally agree, just look at "Scream!" aka Parking Lot: The ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Omg I can’t believe that was built in 2006, It looked so new when I went on 14/08/2018, I thought it was at least something like 2012
They re-did some of the rockworks theming earlier in the year, making it look fresh and new :)
Looking at you Six Flags and Cedar Fair
This thing is so incredibly smooth. Best inverted rollercoaster I've been on so far
Awesome to hear! :)
They anounced a launched flying coaster yesterday which is totally awesome - I hope it will interact with the themed area like Black Mamba does. In my opinion, it's making the ride so much better than just a "parking lot" coaster.
I heard, it's fantastic news! Based on both Taron and Black Mamba, I'm sure it will do just that. :)
The track is exceptionally smooth and quiet and the multiple tunnels and near misses create a very intense experience. The inverted nature of the coaster adds to the fear factor but it's likely to be easier on riders with back problems.
I liked the video and thank you for taking time to respond to a lot of comment I know I enjoy to hear back from you tubers but you are the only one who does it so thank you
+Fluffy Panda It's my pleasure. Thank you for looking and watching my videos. :)
Great video! This is definitely one of the best inverts in the world and has amazing theming!
+CoasterGlitch Thank you. Very true! :)
Great video! The theming on Black Mamba is TRULY incredible!! :-)
+BryceFourn 2001 Thank you. It is indeed. :)
Looks amazing. Wish I could go over there to ride this, Taron and F.L.Y (when it opens)
It does! I'd love to visit Phantasialand too :)
Fly is in the test rides right now
I love these videos that you make, I subscribed.
+Pizza Is Amazing!!! Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy them :)
I loved watching the live editing of this!
+VenomChrono I'm pretty sure that no editing occurred during that live stream! :) It was a very good one though, tune into the next stream in a week. We have a special segment for that week only.
Do you call this a terrain coaster if the scenery was built around it?
+5MadMovieMakers That is a good point, however I am unsure. I personally would call it a terrain coaster.
Reminds me a lot of Nemesis due to the short height and low to the ground elements. Great video!
Thank you! This is very true, however Black Mamba is more themed than that of Nemesis.
This seems like one of the best B&M inverts out there and one of the best coasters in Europe. I would love more attention to theming. +COASTER BOT Yes it does. I mean, a coaster can be great without theming but theming helps a lot.

Great video, I will be paying Phantasialand a visit soon, and I can't wait to ride this and Taron.
+ThemeParkMite I also hope to visit Phantasialand in the future, especially because of Taron. :)
COASTER BOT Yeah, maybe we'll even meet XD
+ThemeParkMite Maybe! A full schedule of the dates I will be visiting Theme Parks can be found in the 'about' section of the channel. :)
COASTER BOT Ahhh, ok, thanks!
+COASTER BOT I rode both coasters, Black Mamba and Taron. The rides itselves are great, but the theming makes the rides sooo much better.
once again a amazing video
+2007disneyhouse Thanks :)
Im used to heavy theming anyways so keep it up is what I say!! P.S. The soundtrack is crucial to a well themed ride.
I definitely agree! :)
Nice job on this
+Ben French Thank you. :)
when will you do another video with Taylor from coaster studios?
That is what I mean. And I like it that you always reply on my comments.
+Nathaniel Allen I aim to reply to everyone's comment! :)
The wait is worth it tbh
Smiler re-opens this month! UK coaster hyyppeeeeeee.
+slyPANDA I cannot wait to ride it again!
With more parks opening over the next few weeks, remember to follow me on Twitter, @Coasterbot. There you will find information about the parks I will be visiting, as well as the exciting new content appearing on the channel in the future!

COASTER BOT Same
Great video your videos are amazing
+CRAZYSNAKE GAMEING Thank you :)
Magic Mountain : Explained please? :D It's my favorite park and I'd just like to see you make a video about the whole park
+Its_Ch33s3 I will add it to the list. :)
COASTER BOT Thanks :D
Great video as always! Can't wait to see "What is: The Smiler"! Also, I am working on a series called Let's Ride! The first one is for Nemesis Inferno and will be released in April! :-)
+SilverCipher Thank you; I can't wait to ride The Smiler! I look forward to seeing what you produce, but please refrain from 'plugging' your channel in the comments.
+COASTER BOT Plugging?
SilverCipher "When somebody posts a single message on a message board advertising a product or website." - Sorry, should have used correct terms, rather than internet slang.
+COASTER BOT I am not trying to advertise my channel. Sorry if you thought I was! XD
+SilverCipher um... well u were but it doesn't matter
Nice video! But you didn't mention the real highlight of this ride:
The Helices in the end. They are incredibly tight and intense. 4.5 G to be exact.
All in all it's a great ride and more intense as the the basic dates suggest.

Lets hope they theme the inside of the building as well as the outside that you can see in the reveal trailer thing.
for the ghost train
Nice video!
Black mamba = my first B&M
+nick kleijnen Thank you. Great B&M to ride as your first! :)
i am going to phantasialand in april it will be my 11 time its amzanig you shoud make a video about winjas fear and force the 2 indoor spinning coasters in phantasialand
+rowan steengraver I'll add those two coasters to the list. Phantasialand looks like a great park; I hope to visit it one day. :)
Is Black Mamba a Batman B&M invert clone with awesome theming?
+Nathaniel Allen Black Mamba features it's own custom layout, and is not a clone. However, it is the same model as Batman, a B&M Inverted coaster.
Nice video
+Coasterfan3657 Thank you. :)
Did you know that the thick main spine of black mamba is filled with sand to quiet the typical b&m roar for a better sound interaction in the queue and surroundings?
I didn't great fact! :)
Kobe Bryant: THE RIDE
TheObesePanda thanks for making my day😂
TheObesePanda that about sums it up
The trifecta of god tier theming in Europe :
Europa-Park, Phastasialand, Eurodisney
Europa-Park isn‘t Like sooo themed, Phantasialand is best
What is Xellerator
Can you do the Ultimate?
+Tom Freeston It's on the list. :)
I like theming and it should be used...
I agree! :)
Coaster bot, do what is the saw Thorpe park
+Coasterworks It's on the list! :)
When you upload What is: The Smiler I'll probably be riding it because I'm at AT for the 20th and 21st :P
+Inversion Team Great to hear! I'll be riding it myself a few weeks after it opens. :)
This looks to be on a themeing level with Nemesis. Am I wrong?
Honestly it is probably better themed than Nemesis is. I'll find out for myself soon :)
What is: Taron
It's on the list! :)
its rly good coaster :D
Yes.
can you do What Is: Updog
What's wrong with 'What Is: Downdog'?
In the upcoming Smiler video, will you talk about the accident?
+imPsychopathic I will lightly cover the recent incident with The Smiler.
+COASTER BOT Cool, thanks for responding. Btw, I love this! Good job, wish I can ride this one day.
imPsychopathic No problem! I aim to respond to everyone's comment. Thank you for your kind words; I also wish I can ride Black Mamba one day. :)
You should do a "What is: Leviathan" video :)
It's on the list! :)
What is:Montu
It's on the list, thanks for the suggestion. :)
thanks!
Can you do - What is: Galactica
+Owen Rogers I plan to in the future! :)
Coaster Bot what is your favorite roller coaster
+Alan Jordan My favourite roller coaster is The Smiler, at Alton Towers.
What is:CuChallain please
You can submit ride requests here: goo.gl/forms/7fayMM2ux5yXXkZo1
A theme park should theme everything or nothing. Also, the ride has to be believably themed and can't greatly stretch people's (or at least the GP's) willingness to believe the theme.
+John (Johnska I think any theme will work as long as it is immersive.
What is: Colorado Adventure (former: "the michael jackson thrillride")
Can u do what is Nitro
It's on the list, thanks for the suggestion :)
What is Iron Rattler
+Ryan Clark It's on the list! :)
What is: Katun or What is: Ispeed :)
I have added them both to the list, thanks for the suggestions. :)
Thank you ☺
Who only clicked because they though Kobe Bryant was a ride😭😭🤑🤑😂😂
What is montu
Both Montu and Xcellerator are on the list of roller coasters to consider creating videos on in the future. :)
can you do goliath ( walibi holland)
+ferrari italia It's on the list. :)
+COASTER BOT thx :)
Not really, if theming were the case for Cedar Point then we wouldn't have awesome rides like Maverick because more of that money would be spent on the theme rather than the coaster itself.
Kw6sTheater What is with Taron?
Greifer2003 _ Oh the best coaster in the freakin world? Because Phantasialand is actually smart.
To be honest some curves are just to high on G-forces, also I was sitting in the middle of the 4th row and didn't see anything of the scenery and just never knew where I was, that's sad 'cause I wanted to see the coaster through the scenery while I was on it.
That's unfortunate. I imagine a front row ride would be awesome for seeing all of the surroundings :)
What is: thunderbird
I will add it to the list, thank you for the suggestion. :)
The Efteling is also very themed.
so far that ride has the best theming ive seen.
TheTechnoProject have you seen taron?
To me, De Efteling is a very overrated park actually.
Phatasialand is better
My only problem with this coaster is that it's so inconsistent. On some rides it runs very smooth while on others it can be a real headbanger. I also feel like one train runs a lot better than the other. Kinda sad about it beacause it was almost perfectly smooth a couple years ago...
8BITaufwaerts I found it to be VERY smooth...
It mostly is but for some reason I just had some TERRIBLE rides on it last season. It really depends on the temperature etc. I guess.
An early suggestion:
What is F.L.Y. at Phantasialand
I will consider creating a video on that ride when it is constructed! :)
Or what is Mako
Both are on the list, thanks for the suggestions :)
You have to go on this
I have, it's great! :)
Gp be like this is a copy of the mind eraser
And Busch gardens
Phantasialand has better theming than Disney by a landslide.
Phantasialand any many other European parks offer more unique theming compared to that found at Disney and Universal parks. :)
This one is awesome but i like taron more
From an outsiders perspective I'd agree ;)
The ironic thing is that black mambas are a light silver
Rip
Black Mama
That's not a question, everyone knows theming is bae, but not every park does it.
+Crocaulu I couldn't have put it better myself.
Cool Chanel
+COASTER BOT how do you get 1,000 subs
+Coaster Cats Thank you.
It depends. Here half the budget went to theming.
In the end that could have payed for an aditional coaster for the park.
I think this works so well for phantasialand is because it is pretty small and there simply isn't room for more many big rides.
If space isn't a problem i think most people simply prefer more rides over fewer better themed rides
What is black mamba a drug all over stoke on Trent
Jes more theme in attractions
I agree! :)
#drivingaparrot
First.
Take away this rides theming and your stuck with a boring old batman clone. I mean look at the stats of this ride!
