Great video, thank you so much for all the useful tips, I am thinking taking my family to Whitsundays to charter a boat, would you mind sharing which charter company did you use?
Yeah we think so too. For many people it could be the perfect alternative to boat ownership. You could do a holiday like this twice a year for 60 years and you would still be well ahead!
nice video, we're booked to go on the same boat in a few weeks. they recommended we allow about $100/day for fuel, but i like your price better... Can't wait tho!!
How did you go navigating the waters? Did you get clear info on where and when you can swim? I know a bloke who got eaten by a shark cause they were swimming at night
I'm. Heading out to Hamilton Island for 3 nights I spent more than you 😒😒 and you definitely had more fun.... If you made the video before I booked everything I would have changed my plans for sure 😂😂😂
Yeah I’m surprised it’s allowed. From my understandingly, under Australian Law, domestic commercial vessels registered for “hire & drive” can be operated without a license. Don’t know how they get around not needing a VHF license.
Wow - thanks to all who have subscribed! We just passed 5000!
Nice video and congratulations on making 5000 subscribers; it can be a challenge to get started!
Thanks Bob - just checked out your channel - love your chartplotter!
you are an information wizard, i have watched 2 of your videos, this one and the hitch rack one. both were awesome ,hopefully the trend continues

As a skipper who has run charters my whole career, that’s a banging good price for the location and to helm with no skipper on board.

Hi bro what company can we hire this exact boat from?

Great vid mate, was just wondering which company you hired the boat from? Looking at doing this myself.
Sorry for the late reply James - only just saw your comment. It was Whitsunday Escapes - they were fantastic.

Awesome ! Just watched this with my kids and we want to do it!
Our kids really enjoyed it Jameel. I think the key is getting off the boat and going ashore each day.
Awesome mate - answered all my questions, another great job !! Thank you
No problem 👍 Thanks Pete.
Awesome video! Awesome quality. My dad wants to do a bareboat charter with a sailboat in the Caribbean.
Thanks mate - you’ll have a great time!
Great video. Thanks so much!
Thanks for putting USD price conversions ! 👍
thank you for video help us a lot
Great video, but that's not a million dollar boat 5-600k at the most, still a nice boat and much cheaper to charter like this.
Fair enough!
Thanks
All this without a license for sailing or VHF radio ???
It’s criminal !!

hi
Think they rorted you on the GBR admin fee. You said $37 per person but the government website says $8 person per day for a maximum of 3 days.
