We got married November 22, 1986. After tests, we were told on May 9, 1990 that we would never conceive a child. I found I was pregnant on September 24, 1993. Due date was May 23, 1994. My son came on May 9, 1994--4 years to the day of when they said it was impossible for us to have a baby. GOD has a wonderful way of proving them wrong.

bring so much to my life with your amazing way of teaching God's words. Last night i had a dream,
we where thousands of people in a building all dressed up in white and we where waiting, almost
like waiting for boarding the plane , and we all had a ticket with us and 3 things that we needed
to go where we where going. Number one was "command" ( i think it's God's command) the second
and third i can't remember but it said beside it "JD Farag was taking care of the second and third"
and you JD where the coordinator of all that, walking to everybody making sure we are ready,
and all throughout the dream there was a song playing in the building from Eddie Money " two
tickets to paradise", then i woke up but so so happy. God bless you JD you and your family !

Thank you for your great message for God. I am confused about something though. I have asked the Lord many times to please give me the gift of being able to speak in tongues. It has never come upon me. I've had a couple of Christians tell me that I need to just start muttering strange sounds and practicing this until it becomes more natural. I find this difficult to believe. It should never be forced should it? How would I know if it was actually the spirit or me just saying a bunch of nonsense out of my mouth. I understand that we all have gifts but that we don't all have every gift. I feel as though maybe my prayers are not being answered because I'm not praying in the spirit even though I desperately want to. I do pray a lot. I do believe I am saved. But this message today has greatly confused me and makes me feel as though I'm missing out on something. Why would I not be given this privilege? I've been a Christian for 28 years now. Thank you for any biblical wisdom you can give me.

Sherriden, I have struggled with this exact thought also. I know that I am HIS, and pray daily, often, but have never been graced with the gift of tongues, in a prayer language. I've been told to "practice" too: and it seems manufactured. I agree if the LORD desires that I speak in a special prayer language, HE will open my tongue to speak it. HE answers my prayers daily, as I sit quietly before HIM, seeking HIS heart for the prayers HE places on my heart. I will pray for both of us, that LORD willing, HE may yet grace us with a prayer language.

Ill be honest, I’ve grown tired of praying because I feel like it’s not working. I’m going thru the biggest trial of my life because of something my husband did and myself and my kids are suffering because of it. I’m burnt out on praying and waiting for my prayers to be answered. It seems like my prayers are falling on deaf ears or the Lord has turned away from me. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I’m tired of life!

That's a lot of chapters to suffer before his prayers were answered yet the Lord restored him and his family. I'm happy that Pastor J.D got a son when he prayed for a son, because he lost his both parents and he was not a parent, as he said. But I cannot help but wonder why he didn't pray to God for a child, girl or boy, just a child. Are girls of lesser value? Maybe it is just me, but still, I would be happy to get a child not matter what gender if I was childless.

    • @didibobo4866
      @didibobo4866 6 років тому +2

All children are gifts from God. Maybe J.D asked for a son because the adoption of the little girl failed. Not judging or anything, just wondering why he prayed "God give me a SON. A SON!".Maybe it is just a cultural thing, a son would pass on the family name, a girl wouldn't. I don't judge anyone here. But if God had given him a daughter that time when he prayed for a son, would he still have been equally amazed? I hope so. Still, I'm happy that God works miracles, for J.D. and for many more people who pray! God bless.

I know from experience of longing for a baby and praying for a son, then having 3 girls before I had a son, you are just so greatful to have a baby it doesn't matter boy or girl.

This was so *extremely helpful* to me. I had been taught that speaking in tongues was a gift for for another time, not eliminated entirely, but only for special occasions, for example to tell the gospel to someone who did not speak your language. If there was no interpretation, if there were no one in particular being spoken to, it was not the real gift of tongues it was just fake gibberish. and make no mistake, fake tongues is a thing. I have heard the fake gift. It is not good. But where there is a counterfeit, there is often a real. This message is so freeing. I have read Ephesians 6 and 1Corinthians 14 but somehow missed the point entirely.
1 Corinthians 14:28 "But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God."
I saw the *Keep silence in the church* but missed entirely "speak to himself, and to God"
and this verse: (Ephesians 6:18) "Praying always with all prayer and supplication *in the Spirit* and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"
Sure I have read that and was taught that meant according to the revealed will of God. Praying according to the revealed will of God is a good thing, but that is not what is says is it? It says *in the Spirit*
When I pray, occasionally strange words would come out of my mouth. I would always stop. That can't be real "tongues" as there is no one here to speak to. Now I know it may be real. I only want it if it real. That is why hearing you preach (1 Corinthians 14:15) "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and *I will pray with the understanding also* : I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also." hearing this makes my heart glad. I will allow myself to pray in those strange words, but I will also pray for understanding of the words.

Pastor J.D. Everyone is talking about Isaiah 17 judgement against Damascus , And Ezekiel 38 Gog Magog prophesy . Nobody ever talks about the Ezekiel 29 prophesy against Egypt... Egypt has been invaded and conquered by Babylon, the Greek , the Roman, The Ottoman, even Napoleon . One of his cannons blew the nose of the Sphinx off. Israel defeated Egypt in 1967 . But never has the people of Egypt been taken into captivity and Egypt left uninhabited no one even passing thru it for 40 years . This 40 years becomes problematic with end time eschatology. There are several camps "opinions" concerning this prophesy. 1) The scoffers use it as proof that the prophesy of God is not inerrant 2) some say the prophesy has not been fulfilled and that it pushes Daniels 70th week out at the very least another 1/2 Century into the future. And 3) the prophesy starts in the time of Jacobs trouble and is fulfilled in the Millennial Kingdom . Perhaps nuclear radiation will be the reason no one passes thru Egypt for 40 years. What is your opinion ?

I have never spoken in tongues, unless you count i speak German? an unknown babbling is not tongues. when tongues is spoken it is a known language and should be used in presenting the gospel according to what i have learned. I may be mistaken but I haven't found where tongues is a prayer language? when the Holy Spirit prays for us it cannot be uttered(not Spoken) But one thing for sure Prayer should be an everyday must. • @ATrustedAuthority
      @ATrustedAuthority 6 років тому

Just to add to what was said before:
The issue of tongues seems to be a balancing act. *Tongues are a gift* from God, but it is a gift that can be misused, abused, and counterfeited.
*PRO* 1 Corinthians 14:18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:1 Corinthians 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
*CON* 1 Corinthians 14:19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue. 1 Corinthians 14:22-23 "Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. {23} If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?"
As for a prayer language, I think this verse implies it: 1 Corinthians 14:28 "But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God."
speaking to himself and to God, isn't that private prayer?

My husband 's (I am a woman) friend once prayed in German at a charismatic church and they thought he was speaking in tongues. 🤦‍♀️ I think there is too much focus on that particular gift. I have not been given it but I have asked the Holy Spirit to speak to God when I was so distraught that I couldn't even think a coherent thought of what to say.

Notice in Daniel 12:1& 2 there are two resurrections the resurrection of life and the resurrection of contempt. The resurrection of contempt happens after the thousand year reign of Christ and the resurrection of life at the end of the tribulation as stated in Revelation 20 verses 1 - 4 this is the first resurrection. In chapter 7 of Revelation verse 9- 12 it talks about people who went through the great tribulation and are now in heaven. In 1 Corinthians 15:52 it says at the last trumpet that we go up and in Matthew 24: 29 - 31 after the tribulation of those days that Christ will send His angels to get us and also in Mar 13:24-27 as well the same. There is only one resurrection of life and one of contempt. All the other references referred to
in scripture have to be talking about the one resurrection of life after the tribulation. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and second Thessalonians 2:1-12, Matthew 13:37-43.
Which means that the seven seals the seven trumpet the seven bowls and the seven angels are in order each year of the seven years of the seven year period. It all lines up. Check it out for yourself. Look at the Bowls of wrath and see who gets them. The first is for sores to form on those who get the mark or worship the beast and we don't know which sea will turn to blood but it makes sense that it would be near the anti Christ headquarters. and the 5 months of the locusts only attack those who don't have the seal of God on their foreheads.
Darkness and paid for the anti Christ and those who worship him or get his mark. then the sea dries up so the army can come and destroy the anti Christ but Jesus and His army comes and Jesus kills all who have the mark and worship the beast.

I feel like whenever I pray it never amounts to anything. I mean, for the most part, even just the little things aren't frequently answered. And the big things, well... pretty much never. I have full faith Abba can answer my prayers but He doesn't seem to want to. Of course I have faith he can answer a prayer, he created the universe didn't He? But why won't he say a single word to me or even answer just one prayer??? :( I'm going through great testing right now too. Although I know He's with me It feels like He's not in the slightest.

feeling and faith are on the opposite end!
      feelings fluctuate and are unreliable!
Faith comes from within your heart where the Holy Spirit resides!
Keep Trusting the Lord Jesus Christ of the Bible !
Spend time reading and meditating on His Word and Truth day and night!

      +Daniel Joshua With respect...
_"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. _*_But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways._*
      James 1:5-8
You MUST ask, believing it will be done. If you're praying in God's will, your prayer WILL be answered. You cannot doubt Him. Ever. He wants us to trust Him. He has given us the gift of faith, but we must exercise that gift when the rubber meets the road.

Sometimes God makes us wait. Sometimes He has something different for us and our prayers will change to reflect that. Is what you are praying for what God wants for You? I am not saying you are asking for anything bad. Maybe God has something better. (Better because He knows what you need better than you do).

Prayer language? The Lord hasn’t given me a spirit prayer language. No wonder most of my prayers go unanswered. I have asked to be filled with the Holy Spirit - I guess he doesn’t want me to have it.

He does want you to have the Holy Ghost and you know it! Like the sermon taught- NOTHING is in possible for YAHUWAH GOD!!!! Father will fill you up with his Holy Ghost but it isn't always instant. Abba moves differently for different people. Some are prophets, some are seers. But all are God's children and He wished to dwell in you. In HIS will and HIS way all will fall into place. All things work together for the good of those who love God. XXX shalom

Honestly Me, I don't have a prayer language, either, even though I have asked for it. Yet, I have had so many answered prayers I cannot possibly know how many there have been. I know the Holy Spirit fills me, and works in me and through me. We do not have to have an unknown prayer language for God to hear our prayers and to answer powerfully. The prayer language, speaking in tongues, etc., is something I do not deny, but neither do I believe every believer must have it in order to fully experience God's will and power.

You don't need one. God wants a sincere heart. Just admit to Him you are not sure what to say. Ask Him for the words. I never got a prayer language but I have been given Bible verses to pray
