My old "friends" used to pick on me DAILY because I'm short, and it lasted a year. It was so awful that the whole school started getting in on it. Actually, there's people in my grade that when they talk about me call me "the short girl" even though I am not so short anymore. It felt very bad and ended up on me having no selfesteem. Now, I have new friends, though one of them still does that. I've told her to stop a thousand times, and so has my best friend, and she knows how much it affects me, but she doesn't care. I don't know what to do...

I had a “friend” that was nice to me on the first day, probably bc she wanted to look like this perfect girl who’s nice to new ppl. As soon as I started being friends with other ppl, she started being rude and making people think that I was threatening her so she could play the victim. My belief is that she was jealous of me bc she’s known all of those ppl for years and didn’t want me to be friends with her friends. All of this happened abt 2 months ago❤️

Problem today is that discipline is being neglected. Parents now a days don’t do enough to teach the kids about consequences of their actions. They don’t know how to parent anymore. And the school board hardly does anything out of fear of rude parents threatening to sue them. When bullying is reported, it gets brushed off and the parents and school make up lame excuses to defend their bad behavior causing it to escalate.
Today’s youth isn’t going to be successful in school and the real world of things don’t change.
I remember back in my days at school, I saw a student being bullied just because of his name, they put a paper on his back, I was completely furious so I have to step in and told him and his friends to back off. One of the bullies asked: "Why you stuck up with him?" And I answered: "You have no right to pick on him and what's wrong with his name?" He didn't answer, I asked: "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Picking on someone is unacceptable and bullying is not unacceptable as well and ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of my country UAE and all of my friends from around the world we want to give our heartfelt condolences to the people of Texas for what happened at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas our thoughts and prayers for the victims families

I can relate to this I used to get bullied/teased. But the bullying wasn’t physical, it was more on the verbal, teasing side. It got worse when I got in middle school. It tore me down and it even tore down my self esteem and self worth. Thank God when I got in high school it calmed down, stopped even.

I get bullied sometimes, but more physical. One time I had my head shoved in to a window on the bus from a kid twice my age. My brother legit went bizarre on him 😅 And I know how it feels. I hate seeing other people get bullied. If anyone bullies you, just know this. People that bully you are just jealous. Ya same mines just a bit different there was this guy in my class and he’s five days older than me and one time he punched me in my head in front of the teacher and I got in trouble for it he just kept going and going and going over and over and over again he threw pencils at me pens a football at my head and even shocked me and he never got in trouble for it I got so mad. I was bullied from kindergarten through H.S. graduation. My family didn't have alot of money, but my parents were hard working. We grew up on a farm, lived there through school years. Most people who farm know you don't exactly make alot of money farming unless you have tons of acreage. My father also drove semi trucks, Mom worked at an egg farm when not doing farm related stuff. So, we couldn't afford fancy expensive clothes like most other kids in our school. I also was molested by other relatives, not my parents or brothers, but 2 much older cousins. Only happened a couple of times, but I feel that had an impact on me in a big way. I never told my family, 1. I was ashamed, though I know I shouldn't have been. I was very young when it happened. 2. That no one would believe me. Relatives were like in their teens, probably High School ages. For many years after, till I got to be about 8 or 9 years old, I would pee my bed. I'm guessing, being molested had a part in that. I learned not to ever be alone with them after that till I got older. The only reason I was at younger age, their Mother babysat me till parents got home. I had alot of other problems, like I wasn't comfortable showering with the other girls in gym class. I feel being molested at such a young age had something to do with that as well. Also, boys walking down the hall would shove their friends into me. Made me pissed off more than anything, but they always ran off before I could say anything. Even some teachers weren't very nice to me. Only a few, but still. Another time, some of us had a field trip to a paper factory. Took 2 buses to get all of us there. When time to go back, was supposed to take same bus back, same seats. Well, these 2 bitches took this other girl and I'd seat, wouldn't move, no others on that bus, so we had to hurry to the other bus, and hope we didn't get left behind. The 2 took our seat, were 2 of my many tormentors.

Thank you, I am doing better. When you get ilder, you realize they weren't really better than you. Now I've been bullied by some bosses or fellow workers. The bosses, because no matter how much you did some were never happy, last one which was last year, I finally got tired of it and retired a little earlier than planned to.

In 3rd grade I was being bullied constantly, I transferred into a new school at 3rd grade, at the start of 3rd grade, I had a lot of friends and I was very popular, but suddenly one of my friends starting to spread rumours about me, and telling all of my friends to stop being friends with me, by then I got bullied in school every single day. But luckily I started to meet another friend in my class that is really nice, and stands up for me and telling my bullies to stop bullying me, I still got bullied but at least I got one friend. I told my teacher about it but she dosent really care, she dosent take bullying seriously. Then I moved to grade 4, things have changed alot, I was getting so much friends and starting being very popular around the school. I was really happy and my teacher loved me. So I was really sad that I’m moving on to grade 5. To all the people bullying out here: pls don’t let the bullies get to u, u r unique the way you are, u don’t need to change anything that the bullies doesn’t like about u. Try to make some other friends, that is nice to u and always stands up to u.

i can relate because when i was in 6th grade, some boy who used to be my friend in 5th grade we were in the same home room class, he’d always call me “Mrs. Hedgehog” and i felt annoyed and hurt, it’d happen everyday, until the last straw, it was a spirit day/free dress day and i wanted to dress in a cute outfit with accessories and he said “do you really have to express yourself 😒” and i was like “yeah, why?”. Then on free dress day, he said ew to my outfit. It was really hurtful i got severely angry and depressed, that i had suicidal thoughts. I hated myself and i felt ashamed of myself. i had to see a psychologist one time due to the harassment. The bullying and harassment was not a good experience and it was my first experience of bullying. And the reason he called me “Mrs. Hedgehog” was because Sonic the hedgehog franchise was one of my favorite franchises at the time. But a couple months later, he apologized and I’m glad he did. To all the bullying victims out there just remember, you be you, never be ashamed of yourself and suicide is never the answer to anything, bullies are not born, they are made.

Yeah the school board does nothing. Even when good teachers report it. They’re too scared of being yelled at my parents. So they make up weak excuses to defend their behavior instead of holding them accountable.
That’s why more and more students today end up with low-self esteem and anxiety from bullying and exclusion.

This hits home for me because that used to be me back in eighth grade and it still is traumatic to me till this day, an important lesson to learn here is to always stay true to yourselves no matter what and if people don’t like it then that’s on them and it will come back to bite them, as they say “what goes around comes back around”.

I feel bad for Gracie. Getting bullied for no reason. Except maybe b/c she doesn’t dress like the popular cool kids b/c maybe her family can’t afford expensive things.
It is honestly absolutely pathetic on people who pick on someone for their style, gender, face, looks ect. Who do you think you are to pick on someone for that? This made me tear up!! I hate bullies. Even tho 9 times out of 10 most bullies are that way because they're going through stuff of their own and they don't want to suffer alone. It makes them feel better about themselves to bully others. The pack of bullies is usually run by the one person who hates their own life, and the rest are too scared to go against them. Bullying is like a virus that is contagious. I'm glad the new girl finally saw that Gracie was suffering from being bullied and was not finding it funny. I don't fault her for trying to fit in and accepting the bullies as her new friends. Not only did she come from a school where she herself was bullied, but also it really takes nerve and courage to stand up to bullies.
Just because they’re going through something, doesn’t mean they should make others life WORSE just bc of their situation. being bullied is serious, and I went through so much bullying before. It’s not fun. How is bullying others gonna make you feel fond of yourself? How would they like it if they were the one being made fun of. They wouldn’t like it, right? Then bullies should realize how much their hurting the other person.

I was also bullied in school, but I was also mousy and tended to stay in the background and there was always someone the bullies targeted more. I have self-esteem issues but that could never ever turn me into a bully.

I can relate to this because so many people make fun of me for being short and on the last day of school I thought it would be over but of course they had their last tease and nobody dealt with it.. I did but nothing changed everyone else just listened and followed and it would go over and over again. My best friend even followed in but she knew what I was going through so she stopped but never helped she just listened and laughed.. most of those people were people I thought were my friends but I guess I was wrong. Sometimes it’s easy to think someone thinks your cool but once you get to know them it’s just someone trying to ruin your day.. if they were in my shoes they would get it but how would they? They think they are so cool for looking like the gay version of the boss baby or having cool clothes or great makeup or a amazing hairstyle but their wrong they are just like any other normal person

I got treated like that but I was too shy to stand up for myself so more people were mean to me then a wonderful teacher told me how to stand up for myself and when the next time someone was mean to me I stood up for myself and everyone was so shocked that I stood up for myself because I was so timid 😂 their jaws dropped it was sooooo funny! my motto is stand up for yourself because who's gonna do it for you so for whoever is going through that always remember that Jesus loves you that helped me 😊❤❤❤❤❤

Bullies need attention, but they don’t get it from everybody so they just pick on you so if you’re out there getting bullied tell the teacher the principal is a demon they will get in trouble may be suspended maybe so expelled or maybe you’re gonna get a butt butt butt butt butt butt whipping from their mom so if you’re out there getting bullied, don’t do anything of it. Just tell the teacher because everybody is brothers and sisters at the end of the day
I was bullied in the 4th grade for being the new kid. I was called a stalker, childish, lame, basically everything. I told my parents and teachers but they did nothing. My parents thought I was exaggerating and my teachers said don’t bully other students which led to more bullying for being a tattletale. I was lucky to make one new friend but she didn’t stick up for me. I was ready to transfer but my parents told me I need to continue. After 4th grade I wasn’t the new girl so the bullying wasn’t as bad but it never went away. I was bullied till the day I graduated and a little more over the summer. I went to high school at things got a better. No one got bullied at my high school because no one cared that much to bully others.
