Good grief people! This is fantastic. This song SHOULD be performed be a classically trained singer, not a Broadway "throaty" vocalist. Bravo Ashley!! Well done...
WOW. I love this song... And agree with the comment about the voice being a bit too far back in the throat. (I had the same problem when I used to sing higher in my range back in the day.) She still sings it pretty damn well though.
I’m sure this wasn’t posted so all of you professional vocal coaches could critique her. You don’t know if this is her natural voice or not. So many know it alls.
@@dbrel my comment was in response to the many critiques of whether she NATURALLY sounds this way or if she’s FORCING herself to sound this way. Had you taken time to read other comments you wouldn’t have responded with ignorance.
Great accompanist too! Such sensitive playing. Each phrase means something and is supporting her so well.
This is the best version on youtube, wonderful. :)

Simply beautiful. I loved it.
That was absolutely spectacular.
Beautiful, rich and captivating.

Beautifully done. Brava!
Gorgeous!!
Hi Ashley ... I am checking your video shortly after seeing you and I like it! Way to go gurl ... keep singing and follow your dreams :)
Beautiful mezzo, tall and forward vowels.
Brilliant voice.
Excellent.
This is really great...but nobody has ever done it like Rebecca Luker.
Damn!
“Bring it forward”?! I see this comment section doesn’t know how healthy classical singing works..
goreous vibrato!

Whose voice is it then if not hers? What a ridiculous comment…. 🤦♂️

that might be her natural voice though
Clasy. haha
I liked it, but it was too throaty and operatic for my taste...
The notes are being hit, but the voice is too far back in the throat. She needs to bring it forwards more, then it will sound absoultely stunning.
