Honestly this does a good job of showing how a flash action movie/show with superspeed, but not "I'm as fast as lightning" superspeed, could work out interesting. And a flash game where you slowly get to ramp up your speed from something lower than this level to something higher would also be interesting.

I always felt that two martial arts The Flash would excel at would be either Boxing or Wing Chun. I know that not many people train Wing Chun properly, but I think he could pull it off if he had a good teacher. Boxing would probably be the best choice because Flash could work all the angles and do well with footwork while also considering Boxing's attacks are all hands he doesn't even have to worry about throwing kicks that could take him too far off his feet and he could more easily maintain his balance. Kicks are devastating when used correctly, (Two of the martial arts I've practiced are Taekwondo and Muay Thai, although I'm more of a grappler to be honest) but they do take you off of your feet and if you miss then you're open to losing your balance, footing, and open to counter-attack all the more, so I think Flash could and probably should avoid using kicks, save for possible low kicks now and again. The reason I suggest Wing Chun as a second option is because Wing Chun has a lot of forward momentum, and Flash is really good at that. Imagine if he used both styles, that would be something to see, although I think focusing on only one or the other would suit him better. I've done some Wing Chun and some Boxing and to be honest I prefer Boxing, although given I have back, shoulder, and hip problems so striking is no longer viable for me, although I'm hoping to get surgery on my hips soon so I will be able to walk with a cane again. (I can't grapple on the ground anymore, so I rely on takedowns, sweeps, chokes, holds, and joint locks.) Sorry for the personal history, but I felt I should back up my claims with actual credentials so to speak. Anyway, if he focused mostly or even solely on hand strikes, he would be even more deadly and effective.
