50 Obstacle Course Ideas for Home Field Day

50 Stations and Never Ending FUN!
Most of the stations use materials you have at home already, I literally have spent only a few dollars on a couple extra things.
The best thing to do is to let your kids watch the video and have them pick their favorite stations. My children could have stayed entertained with only a few of these stations for hours. They were still box car racing 3 days after we closed the obstacle course up.
It is also fun to set the stations up with them, they have just as much fun doing that than the actual racing part.
I have timed my kids and they took turns completing the course because I didn't have 3 of each equipment or material I needed for the course. At the end it was more fun to do it that way because we watched and cherished every kid trying out every station, one by one and they cheered each other on for the whole time. Just add a few extra seconds for missed stations or failed attempts to do the given station.
Then leave the stations out for a day or two and you will be surprised to see your children making great discoveries and experimenting eagerly with new ideas and skills they need to develop to accomplish their own, new stations.
Thats about the Best part, where the sky is the limit and imagination and invention is encouraged.
Get them inspired with this video, see what they are interested in, help them to build the first course and hand it over to them to see what they will turn it into.
