- The best way to find quetzals in ark mobile to my knowledge. If they aren’t spawning here for you it likely means that there is already a quetzal that spawned there is still alive somewhere and you’ll need to find and kill it

Just tidy save on sp I find like 20 an hour at red obelisk that way also works with titanosaur but they're rarer

Worked Just Fine for me (04/10/2020). I used Tapejara for pursuing and sat on passenger seat do shoot tranqs. Only difficulty was setting It to passive when it got too close to the quetz then targetting again. Ascendant rifle took me 2 minutes to knock It out. Soothing balm makes it a 5 min tame with kibble.
I usually just kill it with my argy too, i knocked 2 quetz in a row out over water before and had them drown. Theyre generallt just worth the amber revive too
On pvp we were raided last night and thankfully they didn’t kill any of our Dino’s and only took our stuff
Nice guide! I got lucky with mine and found a 290 while searching for argies (tame didn’t go well. Long story lmao). Now I’ll use this to find a max level to breed with her... not only do I have to find a max level, but a max level male...

The Gaming Cat not necessarily. They clip through the walls and ceiling when revived iirc. Also my problem isn’t the tame. It’s finding one.

Tame a low level getvplatform saddle then use it to build a box and trap the higher level not tested yet
Schwalbe! U Need A Resurrection platform To tame quetzal Because it will get killed if u knock it out How its gonna happen? Lemme say it If U Knock out a quetzal it will get knocked near a giga and it will die.. So u need to kill it revive it and tame it in trapped reviving platform but it will take some ambers ;-;

Tidy Save Will Make The Quetzal Respawn If You Lost It

Fun fact if your quetz isn't spawning just tidy save it and it will spawn in a few seconds just know doing so will despawn any dinos that are not in your render distance
IMPORTANT NOTE! When using toxicant arrow they useless on crosssbow only useful on how and compand bow very here compare| crossbow take 64 shot with Tranq arrow to nock out a giga but 54 with toxicant| but a bow it take about 112 shot with Tranq arrow but 56 shot with toxicant| and compound bow it take 200 shot with Tranq arrow and 41 shot with toxicant| oh btw this a level giga
I just tamed a level 270 quetz, do to taming effectiveness it is now a beautiful green and black lvl 412

I did find a 145 quetzal with around 10 times trying, unfortunately it did fall into the beaks of many terror birds. You can do it faster by using the quetzal taming pursuit (not really hard to unlock), it will point out the quetzal location (but you should only turn it on near the obelisk bc it will keep the quetzal not despawn and it can fly away ezly if you arrive late). I even can find out the spawn location on my map, but this is still a very long process. Good luck if you are intending to find one 😘

if some of you guys still are having trouble finding a quetzal all you need to do is go to the red obelisk and tap on tidy save and wander around for a little bit and a quetzal should spawn near the red obelisk and if it doesn't you'll have to try again until one spawns

How long to wait when u fly away to a place for it to respawn? I waited a place far for 2 mins them come back and see the respawn, but ur seems like couple seconds.
I was near the red Obelisk and then i found a lvl 9 quetz (im on easy), and i wasn’t sure if i brought enough arrows with me to tame it. I turned, and BOOM: another, lower quetz spawned right in front of me, and i tamed it😊😂👍🏻but can even spawn 2 quetzals at the same time🤔? When not, the it was probably a glitch or the other one just died...😑

When I go to the red obelisk i found a Quetzal then i go to my base get some tools and i come to the red obelisk but there is no Quetzal there and then i came back again and again but I found nothing why?please please
The quetzal i found just despawned because i was too slow i use Tapejara so i can switch seat and use a longneck rifle and shoot it but because i struggle ito finding one, i panic. i could've just kill the quetzal then revive it in the obelisk covered in cage so it cant escape. im such an idiot. Do i have to wait for another one to spawn, or do i have to chase that quetzal?

I'm curious...I'm playing PvP servers and my argy levels up awfully slow,even though I always go hunting with it for 30 minutes per day...My ally gave it to me when it was level 89 and after a few days of hunting it did not even level up...😥

I use pt (pteradons) to tame tapejaras
I use tapajaras to tame quetzals
And I use quetzals to tame titanasaurs and gigas

I m playing easy single player right now and I have reached like lvl 78 and tamed nearly all dinos atleast once (except titan)(I keep killing the boring dino as they are waste)

Kaylee Eastman try tidy saving it, don’t worry it wont mess up your sp world, and tidy save means it despawn all wild dinos except your tames. So try tidy save if you loss one or if it dosent spawn, also if it dosent work try looking around the red obe cuase sometimes they spawn everywhere
