Overall, it's a solid product across the board but luckily we have people like Stryker to really break it down for us, his spreadsheets are pretty crazy. Thanks for the input from your own experience, it all helps.
I’m just eyeing all those Phillies cards. I’m a huge Phillies fan and mainly try and collect Phillies players than anything “valuable”. My favorite player is Alec Bohm even though he pisses me off sometimes 😂 I also adore Stubbs!
My fanatics boxes surprisingly came today and they were amazing! Can confirm aquas are in every pack. My two biggest hits came out of the same pack, a chourio true rookie aqua and rainbow!
Finally found two lonely boxes on the self after weeks of looking and got both luckily. One of the boxes had a Caminero '89 insert auto! Best hit for me in a while...
Got my first Blaster of Topps Update this morning and opened up a Skenes Halloween Ghosts parallel. It was quite the rush! Got three more to check out tonight when I get them in the mail. Wishing you more luck on these rips!

@robhanson2653 The design of Stars of MLB is fine but they are just too common and a small set. Need less production or perhaps some type of SP or parallel, otherwise they should just scrap it. The only time I actually care about them is if I pull a solid player in the Chrome format. With that being said, Topps Update is a great product in my opinion. Happy ripping everyone!
Watched four auctions end within an hour last week for Pp2 before I sold mine for pricing. They’d been running five to seven days so probably some old snipes: 15, 20, 25, and 100+! At the time there were like twenty auctions at 99 cents. Was ecstatic to get 15 the next day and run.

I opened 17 lol and pulled a case hit HFA Babe Ruth. Thought it was pretty standard but I looked it up on eBay and they are selling for 400. I was like sweet this just paid for the rip. Everything else is nickel and dime back out.
Not a case hit either!! 1 in 32,815 packs. That 1 in 117 cases of blasters. And there are 5 players in the set. 585 cases of blaster to make the set with perfect collation.
Found some at Meier and got 6, got a /50 Halloween, few random numbered, Father’s Day blue, skenes rainbow and blue, Jackson’s Holliday Halloween and rainbow, imanaga blue… nickel and dime for days
My only advice is to keep ripping. I have a feeling we'll see quite a bit hitting shelves of Target and Walmart in the coming weeks. Sure hope Meijer brings back the purples after we didn't have them in 2023 Update.
Good news, my Fanatics shipped today! Bad news, like you, I have not had a lot of luck in retail. Best so far, 20 fat packs - 2 gold rookie debuts (Wynn / Shota), 10 blasters - Nada, 8 hangers - 1 yellow Elly debut. I am starting to wonder if 2022 update will be the last awesome year of retail....
I’ve seen people pulling autos from fat packs on UA-cam. I pulled two hobby boxes and basically got skunked with two bad autos. It’s always a crap shoot, but with the amount of good rookies in this class, chasing color in fat packs/hangers seems like the best bang for your buck IMO
Paw Patrol are still SP. 1 or 2 per case. Problem is, the checklist is 1. (PP1 is SSP) So the print run is something close to black gold singles. Something like 15k copies.
Stryker-just an observation. When I order presale from Topps/Jumbo-Hobby-, the hits are weak. When I order the same from D & A , multiple hits. Coincidence or not?
Is it just me? Or is the QC at Topps really slipping? I've bought several blasters over the past few weeks and have received quite a few damaged cards. Some even really good cards that are damaged. It's ridiculous for the amount of money we're paying. I won't be buying anymore until Topps can get this under control.

And you blaster boxes didn't all come from the same case. You'll find different lot numbers stamped on the inside of the boxes.
