If he repents, why not?....paul repented, and so did Manaseh....
Seriously, you’re comparing Carl Lentz to the apostle Paul… who wrote a 1/3 of the New Testament??
@@lane21007 .....Paul Murdered many Christians before he converted....Carl's sin is no greater than Paul's....
When Paul repented, he got saved. He never committed gross sin after that. That’s NOT analogous to Lenz violating his office and bringing contempt upon God’s holy name.
@@ricksonora6656 ......men have no authority to condemn another man, no matter the sin, if he repents, God alone has the authority to forgive him......
He is disqualified to preach. Podcast is fine especially if he repented and learned his lesson .
Why not???? It's God who restores not us...
I just don’t understand people whose god would say Lenz is disqualified but would raise him up anyway.
@@ricksonora6656 If you steal from your father and he punishes you ...who has the power to restore the one who was wronged or other people?
You see this is the problem with "Christian's", they love to point out the faults but rarely want to focus in on the restoring of a person.
Not saying he should be in a pulpit tomorrow, but honestly imagine how he can help other Pastor's/Reverends/Bishops/Apostles/Priests struggling, how he can stand as a warning to others especially young born agains as to what not to do when you struggling with yourself, how not to take too much on in terms of leadership when you not spiritually mature enough.
it's easy to say never allow him, but who are we to say that his journey isn't a better one because of what he went through, David murdered his lover's husband and the Lord still forgave him, Peter denied Christ 3 times the lord still forgave him, Saul made it his life's mission to eradicate the early believers the lord still used him to further the gospel to Syria and Greece...
If God restored you Corey Miner from your sinful past, then God can restore Carl Lentz.
Just like you, we all have a sinful past. Why you pointed to Corey is irrelevant because there is a difference between Carl and Corey
Restore to what ? He was never a real pastor

Matthew 7:20
“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
LETS USE OUR INTELLIGENCE WITH SCRIPTURE.
HE IS PUTTING HIMSELF IN A POSITION TO PREACH... SIMILAR TO SINGERS OR RAPPERS ETC..
SECONDLY LET'S NOT ACT LIKE TMH DOES NOT DESTROY THE WICKED WHEN HE WANTS.
2 Peter 2:1
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves SWIFT destruction.”
THESE WICKED INDIVIDUALS NEED TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST.
COME BACK TO THIS COMMENT... AND YOU'LL NOTICE HOW THESE WICKED PEOPLE, THEIR HOUSE IS NOW FILLED WITH SEVERAL DEMONS REVEALING THEMSELVES.
CHRISTIAN ARE TOLD TO BE VIGILANT, COMMANDED TO BE STRONG.
THE WEAK MINDED WILL NOT ENDURE...
WE WILL SEE THE TRUTH.
🗡️
lol...Nope
Who's we? Hes been restored. Its not up to you or your tiny corner of Christianity. Its the decision of his family and immediate community. Silly title.
forgiven? did he repent? of course. pastor? looooooool no
i will take a preacher all day over a speaker.
It means restore them as a member of the church, but not to leadership until years later after he has proved himself true to the Word.
Once an addict, always an addict.
“As it has been written: ‘For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you.’" Romans 2:24
“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God….” 1 Peter 4:17
"Where do you stand on issues the youth are passionate about?"
Easy. I don't care. What does God say about it?
Why can’t you answer what youth are passionate about with what God says about those issues? Why must one choose between issues and answers?
@ricksonora6656 Every answer should be "God says this..." the youth in the cultural christian world change with the times. God doesn't change. It was a leading question to a false teacher who caters to the world. We're not supposed to cater the the world.
It's not up to you or anyone else it's up to God and it's between him and God. Your channel getting just as bad as Abendego. Everyone deserves prayer none if us are perfect
Restored no forgiveness yes
He'll fit right in at Todd's church.
