Love your videos but they are the best when you have Sue with you. She is so adorable and have such incredible knowledge about the pieces you are looking for... You two should always go together.
If anyone’s interested there’s a really really good film about the whole story behind the big eyed waifs called “Big eyes”. Definitely a 10/10 watch imo.
I have just come across your channel and was beginning my weekend YT binge. Well! As soon as I saw the pictures of the Bild Lilli dolls it quickly reminded me that I was given my first teenage doll (Christmas 1964), the Marlene doll complete with her vanity chock full of girlie things! Alas, I no longer have the vanity but I do still have my beloved blonde Marlene! Thanks for the walk down memory lane, my old home, and my dear (and favorite) Aunt Diane who gave a shy, awkward little girl the best gift ever.
I love the black deco lamps! I'd love to here more about the estate sale business. How did you get into it, what was all involved.. tips/tricks for dealers (the inside scoop). :) I always thought it would be fun having an estate sale... But I'm also the one that hates having yard sales.. lol. I just feel like it would be more fun with OTHER peoples old/interesting stuff. The oriental plate is pretty! I have some japan figures in my shop that seem to not be very popular (?).. I can't figure out the Chinese/oriental market at all!
I adore the big eye paintings as I had big brown eyes when I was younger. Adore tables with the yard sticks. Not sure about the thrill of the black lamps.
As a child there was a round "little boy blue" picture on my wall ... it's eyes always seemed to follow me. Your talk about the creepy, big eyed, waif reminded me of that. Lol
Awesome that your gonna get a studio! Nice table you picked! My daughter has a pair of those metal legs like the first table in her back yard I keep wanting to take everytime I see them . Luv Sue she knows it all!
I love that rose medallion plate. My goal is to find one myself. Did you ever find who ratted on you? lol. I watched the Big Eyes movie. That poor woman. What a life with that man. I think those eyes showed the sadness inside her. Anyway, I'm making my way through these videos and going to Sues soon. I look forward to each video each day. I binge watch you and many of your friends. Thanks. I'm glad to help you feed your children. 😂😂😂
Wow! You really scored big time Girlfriend. That table looks delicious. What a cool way to finish off a table too. Who would of thought old yard sticks would come in so handy?! Will you put it up for us to see when it is finished? I am just loving Sue's delicately tinted pink hair. It is so becoming. I wish I could be style maven's like the both of you, with your lovely hair colors, but sadly allergies preclude me from using any dye's. This was such fun and that shop looks like a real possible gold mine for treasures. I hope your Christmas was a delight and your New Years will be just as fun. I have been hitting the Goodwill pretty hard lately and finding a lot of the lighting I need for my shop. I never thought I could do so well. It is saving a good deal, so I get to spend a little on other decor. Yippy! I may have to join Goodwill Anonymous tho before too long, as it is getting highly addictive. LOL
Lesa Hanners I hope you had a wonderful holiday with family as well! Ours was a little hectic, but it always is with little ones who rise at the crack of dawn. Haha. (Thank-God for coffee.) I do love my table!!! I finally got it all moved in to the basement family room and was putzing with getting the right angles on Christmas-so much so that I got the prime rib in the oven way late and we didn’t eat until 9PM! Haha. Sue’s hair color (and mine) is actually by keracolor. It’s a shampoo/conditioner. It’s organic and you can use it often for vibrant colors (like you saw in my videos where my hair was bright red or bright copper) or you can just use it occasionally like Sue does for a soft splash of pink. If you’re allergic to dyes, this might actually be a gentle alternative.
Great video now if I could keep all that information in my head. You two are the best! Did I read in the comments that you did get that fantastic table? Congrats!! You should make a video when you get the room set up.
I love Margaret Keene's work. That plate shows a child with a happy face. Her earlier work showed them with more sad faces. There was a movie made about her called Big Eyes. It explains why her work went from sad to happy. I would have bought that plate probably. I love the big eyes, I don't think they are creepy.
Hope y’all had a wonderful Christmas. We had a great day. Y’all are a hoot to watch. Would love to shop some the antique store around here in the South with y’all.
I like these best when you and Sue are together. When did you make your hair so dark, I like your hair blonde better! I love the things Sue finds. But you both leave things I really like behind. And it just about kills me to watch! Is this one of your earlier ? I liked that hair cut you had when it was blonde, with that long piece on the left of your hair.. that you had black. It really looked good that way.
Those big eye paintings use to freak me out as a kid. One of my aunts had one in her house and I would run down the hall past the painting looking down at my feet so I wouldn't see those freaky eyes .
Vintage Discoveries Just looked those up. My first reaction was...”Creepy!” But my God.... they almost instantly grew on me with a single scroll. They’re kind of charming! I like them.
New subscriber here. Just wondering about ads. How long do we need to watch the ads so it counts as a view? If we have to watch ads, I want to make sure you get the credit!
Do you ever find out what the mark is by putting tracing paper over where you think it is and rubbing a pencil or some kind of art pencil over it? I’ve seen people use that method to take a rubbing to make old weathered tombstone carving more visible or to make a copy of it for their records. Genealogy searching. Also, another method I just thought of is to use one of those gray kneadable art erasers. You could press the eraser into the mark. It won’t stick, so no worries. Then pull it off. You can then see the mark backward or ink the mark and press it on a piece of paper to see what you have. I would prefer the first method-quick, easy, cheap. Even computer paper might work but tracing paper is so much thinner. You could actually do this in the store. Just carry some small pieces of paper in an envelope with a pencil in your Vera Wang. 😉 Neither method is hard to do, but thinking you ladies can decipher what I meant!🤔🤣🙄
Hello luvs, Sue was looking at the Rose Medallion plate, she said because there's chips around it - "that's okay because there's blank paper for that." what paper was she talking about? I played it a couple times I could not hear what she said. please and thank you!
I covered a small table with yardsticks, and it cost me more than the table. Old yardsticks are expensive, but the new ones aren't pretty and don't have the right patina that the old ones have. I paid $6-13 each for them. Ouch! But it was beautiful, and I ended up selling it.
I’m going to try to get some from our buddy George. (You’ve seen him in a couple videos.) He does clean-outs and I suspect he might come across some for me.
That metal base table was a treadle sewing machine base missing the treadle, wheel and skirt guard. Actually it looks to me like they used 2 left hand legs because I don't see the space for the wheel. The bases bolted together so they can be configured many different ways when upcycling.
Can Sue adopt me? She could move to Montreal and we could go shopping (we have universal health care here). Tomorrow I am going to Value Village and Renaissance (Quebec version if VV). Wish me luck.
You two rock !! I always leave with a smile when you and Sue ride off into the Starbucks Sunset. Thanks.
Love your videos but they are the best when you have Sue with you. She is so adorable and have such incredible knowledge about the pieces you are looking for... You two should always go together.
Does Sue have a channel? She knows so much and explains everything so well. Love me some Sue!!
Yes it’s called...sue me
If anyone’s interested there’s a really really good film about the whole story behind the big eyed waifs called “Big eyes”. Definitely a 10/10 watch imo.
Yes I watched that too
i love Sue--she just rocks!!
I love SUE , she explains things so well
OMG. I love Sue. "The kids went hungry."
Jocelyn and Sue are a great team.
So entertaining and informative. Proud to know that you found THE table in my booth. Keep up the great work!
Tawnya Schreiber I love my table, thank-you so much Tawnya!! Did your coverlet ever turn up?
Can't wait to see your studio set up! Unfortunately, the coverlet has not turned up :(
Merry Christmas :) Sue's knowledge is amazing I would love to go shopping with you two :) best wishes :)
I could listen to sue talk all day ! I love y’alls videos so much !!!!!!!
Why have I been awake binging on your videos for the last week? And do I sit through the ads? Yes, yes I do.
Awww Keene 's Kids..Memories of days gone by. I also have a friend named Susan...who actually resembles your Sue.
I have just come across your channel and was beginning my weekend YT binge. Well! Amazing how Sue handles everything and never drops anything. I'm klutzy and impressed.
I wish I could hang out with you two!! You are both delightful!!

I wanna go shopping, or at least browsing, with you & Sue! What a fun adventure filled day it would be!
I love Big Eyes!
I love the big eyed plates! And the Blythe dolls, and the gig plates.....I have none but I would totally buy one if I found one!
I love those camel bells. I have a set that we’re my grandmothers. They are older than me and I’m just south of 60.
You two are a dynamic duo! So fun and informative to watch!
ohh my God have you seen the big eyes movie by tim burton? that lady is my favorite artist now!!
I adore the big eye paintings as I had big brown eyes when I was younger. Adore tables with the yard sticks. Not sure about the thrill of the black lamps.
Cheryl Huntley All of the Big Eye children/puppies/kitties didn’t have brown eyes. They were all different color eyes.
As a child there was a round "little boy blue" picture on my wall ... it's eyes always seemed to follow me. Your talk about the creepy, big eyed, waif reminded me of that. Lol
Yay!!!! I’m so proud of you! You have your glasses on today!
Always learning something new with Sue!
Awesome that your gonna get a studio! Nice table you picked! My daughter has a pair of those metal legs like the first table in her back yard I keep wanting to take everytime I see them . Luv Sue she knows it all!
The alarm will continue to off and we will talk over it....then we're going to Starbucks. Everyone should have a friend like Sue.
I love that rose medallion plate. My goal is to find one myself. Did you ever find who ratted on you? lol. I watched the Big Eyes movie. That poor woman. What a life with that man. You two always make me smile!
Great video and find. Looking forward to see this project table. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Kind regards from Finland, Pascal
Get the camel bells! People use all types of bells as chimes and reuse projects for the patio
I love those big eyes girls. I'd love to own some as I am French so to me it's very special, a part of culture in the US. So so interesting :)

I had sad-eyed cat and dog pictures in my room when I was a kid. I love animals but of course, I felt so sad for them.
I love rose medallion...I have some really nice pieces when I lived in okinawa.
Hey so glad you got the table it is awsome.
That's a nice antique country table Jocelyn. I would have bought that too if i saw it.
Great video now if I could keep all that information in my head. You two are the best! Did I read in the comments that you did get that fantastic table? Congrats!! You should make a video when you get the room set up.
Ha ha, Sue has Sewing Machine Legs. sorry just my sense of humour
Sue's very intelligent women ....I always love her finds ..there very beautiful

Love you guys! Merry Christmas! 🎶🎄🎶
you guys would spend $135. just collecting enough yard sticks to make the table!!!!! LOL
Those big eye paintings use to freak me out as a kid. One of my aunts had one in her house and I would run down the hall past the painting looking down at my feet so I wouldn't see those freaky eyes .
Loved those camel bells!! Looked for some when I traveled to Egypt. How much were they??
I love those dolls with the big eyes Blythe doll , super expensive on ebay n etsy though .
Vintage Discoveries Just looked those up. My first reaction was...”Creepy!” But my God.... they almost instantly grew on me with a single scroll. They’re kind of charming! I like them.
Me too. My dream is to find a Blythe while thrifting.
I played back who was corcelain? Juliette is Jocelyn's daughter" Sissy"??😂😂
love SUE!
New subscriber here. Just wondering about ads. How long do we need to watch the ads so it counts as a view? If we have to watch ads, I want to make sure you get the credit!
Did you two make video about the resurfacing with a yard stick? That sounds really cool.
Great videos!

I just watched a commercial. Thanks for all your knowledge
Love your channel Josseline.
Like the big eyed dolls, that is somewhat like the cabbage patch dolls. A man took credit for a lady's work.
I want Sue to be my friend. What a hoot.
Does Sue know Chip Cofee ? Not sure of spelling. He’s a medium who sounds exactly like her!😊 Even looks like him
I just saw him tv last night. That iwhat I thought.Robynne Dorion
Yessss! Their voices are so similar
Hello luvs, Sue was looking at the Rose Medallion plate, she said because there's chips around it - "that's okay because there's blank paper for that." what paper was she talking about? I played it a couple times I could not hear what she said. please and thank you!
Emory paper like the Emory board fingernail files...
Love love love the big eye plate
Jessica Johns I do too...Don’t think its fair to call it creepy...
Happy Holidays.
Love the crazy lamp lady video
I love you guys your videos are great
Good video
I love that table if I had room that would so go in my house
Omg 😍 big eye girl plate
I think a saw the movie about the artist story...
I love the big eyed girl!
Sue is so funny
Oh yes. That will get me banned from thrift stores for life. "Do you have any plastic dolls with boobs?"
Just looked up rose canton for the fun of it...a few rose medallion sold as canton CHEAP...just need to check listings carefully I guess?
6:25 boobs are the key that fits every lock.
thewoodshed Bahaha. Ohhh... and that’s not even the stuff I must edit out. Teehee. Love her.

That is high for yardsticks. One thing to watch for is they are all different thicknesses and may need to be picked selectively or planed down.
I’m going to try to get some from our buddy George. (You’ve seen him in a couple videos.) He does clean-outs and I suspect he might come across some for me.
Your my supper hero. Love your power
It looks like something ate her eyes out😮
I wanted one of those waif posters SO badly, but my mom didn’t approve of hanging anything on the walls?!?
2:08 "You can rock on that thing." and "boobs are the key." "She touched it." All said by Sue. :o
Table looks like it was the bottom of an old treadle sewing machine I used to own one
That metal base table was a treadle sewing machine base missing the treadle, wheel and skirt guard.
Actually it looks to me like they used 2 left hand legs because I don't see the space for the wheel. The bases bolted together so they can be configured many different ways when upcycling.
We made a T.V. stand/table out of a mangler base think sue knows what that is
I live those big eyed girls.
Speaking of doll boobs, they are talking them now in thrift stores and naked barbies are not allowed on. Facebook marketplace
Sue how young are you? I'm 65. I want a friend just like you!!!
No, it is a mark!
Can Sue adopt me?
She could move to Montreal and we could go shopping (we have universal health care here). Tomorrow I am going to Value Village and Renaissance (Quebec version if VV). Wish me luck.
You should do a tat in a sharpie ... freak the dude out!!!
Binge watching tons of your videos hope i help you earn more then 2 cents
I want sue to make asmr
