I worked at a shelter and we do a TNR program on the campus and we had one old man, his name was Mojo. He was a black cat a yellow eye, big ol claws and a mean look to him, he was skinny too (Don't be fooled, everyone always fed him too much wet food because of his charm!). He looked so mean, but he was so incredibly sweet. He loved to be held and pet and loved on. He lived like a king. One day, we found out he had cancer.
The shelter was not equipped to help out (because we got our money from the city and they saw us as unimportant and not worth the money) and plus, he was old. I was out of work the day they had to put him down due to his condition. He will forever be in my heart, rest in heaven Mojo ❤

how the hell are there people this accomplished? she can sing absolutely beautifully, play instruments, speak from what I remember korean, japanese and english, is one of the best artists I've ever seen, has mastered drawing stuff thats cute, ugly, horrifying and cool, and is great with animals.

I love this island, but it's sad that it may not be here for long as the people who used to live their were old and are moving and or passing on from old age. I hope some people move their to take care of these cute silly kitties bc it would be sad to see this place go. I'm glade you had fun at the island, I'm in love with all these cute furr balls in this video!

You might be thinking of Ao island (Aoshima, another cat island) which has a smaller population of less than 10. It looks like Tashirojima is doing better in comparison although still not thriving.
Gotta love Cat Overlord, she sounds like she is a lovesome person that truly enjoy her life around that island

Your speed paints are always my favorite- you intercut them with the footage of the things that inspire you to draw them, and there’s always a bit of a story to em. It makes them really unique amongst speed paints here on UA-cam, and Minty’s Adventure is just super wholesome in general. Super stressful day ahead of me tommorrow- really needed this. The level of skill displayed in this video is so insane. Speaking Japanese, filming and editing the video and adding visual effects, 2D drawing and animating, 3D modeling, just incredible stuff. I absolutely live for how you add stuff like fantasy armor and game elements to these cats and give them so much life. I will always be jealous of Australians innate ability to materialize within the confines of Japan.
It's not quite innate, it takes a solid b8t of learning. Materialising with Japan is madagory learning in most primary schools, but some people just never get the hang of it. The real problem is when you dont know the language and can't figure out how to materialise back. I lost a brother that way last month, he still hasn't been found.

I’m actually so curious about some of them, some of the black cats are soooo rusty, I wonder if it’s due to diseases or really just sun tan, because that cat in the end eating a fish is one of the brownest black cats I’ve ever seen
With Neytirix it's either nightmare fuel to its most gruesome extent or the fluffiest wholesome balls of cute. There is no inbetween.
What about the fluffy cat that could turn into a bunch of jagged teeth by yawning??
I found myself blubbering like a baby watching this video. I love cats so much and its always been a dream of mine to visit Cat Island. Seeing all the different cats with some looking like ones I've had in the past just made me cry harder. I always love seeing these comfy, soft videos of yours. Thank you for doing what you do.

I have this on watch later list and havent removed it, Ive just been rewatching again and again at random times. It's just- the music, the cute kitties, the art, the bits of humor at seeing the jobs of the cats above their heads (and other video game aesthetics) and the number of cats you had to draw increasing then the cat overlord dragging you to see even more cats. Its just so wholesome and cozy

Most of the cats on the island has been fixed ( neutered and such), except for i think some 10 cats that were hidden away. By some well meaning people, sadly it had to be done as Neytirix said. The elderly people living on the island has a difficult time caring for the cats.

As an aside, your 3D comprehension for scene building is remarkable. Only one other artist i've known has ever had that skillset and it heavily came from an animation background.
