I picked this video over all others and exhaled a sigh of relief when you said it was a beginner project for you too! I get so intimidated by "professionals" and my finished project never succeeds because I get lost or confused... But I did my planter the same time with you and I have to say: That was so much fun! Your accent, along with your shy, nervous laugh is so adorable, I made a mess cause I was laughing too! 😀 All in great fun! Yours still looked way better, but I want to do this with my grandma, and I'm going to do it this way again with her... Thank you my friend!
You can use just ordinary charcoal tht we use in the bbq, and to keep the mess down to a minimum, make a funnel out of a sheet of paper...... and to close the whole thing off, use a large cork in the opening of the glass bowl.
Wow! 😮😮😮 I've always loved these. But I don't have an artistic bone in my body. I can't even arrange the pantry, let alone a succulent display! The bones I do have, just don't coordinate together to allow me to do anything, without spilling, dropping, breaking, piffing, gawd the list goes on! I leave the beautiful things to other people, and Mother Nature, lol.
Greetings to you in the highlands of subtropical Norway! May I throw a few questions your way? What is the wattage of your growlights, their make/brand, their PAR rating, and how many of these lights do you have running in your plant room? Do you have any issues with any of your plants related to insufficient light, such as etoliation (increased internodal length), stretching and pale foliage? Do you pay any special attention to maximising humidity, given that central heating throws off a lot of very dry and hot air, which is detrimental to humidity-loving tropicals you are growing such as guava, coffee, citrus and papaya? For example, do you use an air humidifier? I am using a 300W 'Kingbo' brand of LED growlight I bought from Amazon. While I am getting results from it, I think the PAR output is not high enough, and I think I need a more powerful 1000W LED light to get the light output equivalent to the 400W Metal Halide growlight I was using prior to my switchover to LED. I am trying to decide whether several 300W LED growlights are just as good (or maybe even better?) than using a single 1000W unit.

I’m getting ready to make my first succulent terrarium, this is so very helpful! Turned out awesome, thank you ☺️
I love that you have this huge grow room and all these plants but "can't keep house plants alive" 😂
Wowwwww, you did an excellent job. It’s came out amazing for your first try at it. Can’t wait to see more videos. 🌱
Thanks so much! 😊
almost a year since you posted this! how is your terrarium? is it thriving? i wanna do this but im afraid of killing my succulents
This is gorgeous. The layers of media look very nice as well. Good call on putting the top dressing down before adding the plants.
I haven't grown many succulents, but this looks like a project I could handle! Excellent video my friend.
Bravo c’est très joli. Je vais tenter la même composition

Bien muy bien creativo 👍felicidades Saludos 🙋
Thank you!
Thank you very useful for a beginner like me ! So watering has to be done once a week?
It depends. You can see it on the succulents when they start to dry. Important not to over water.

Beautiful! How often & how much do you water it?
Not sure yet as it is brand new, but I guess every 10-14 days.
What’s your name on Instagram, please?
You talk too much. Just get to the point already. I’m bored moving on.
Your video is you "trying things out"? Sigh! Thanks for nothing
