- This Chapter of LittleBig Waves is following the process of integrating Rolls into my daily movement. Aside from a simple practice session on the topic, I present several insights on rolls; Physical, Mechanical and Philosophical.
The works of Masa Suzuki @masasuzuki and Amos Rendao @amosrendao is being referenced inside the video. Their approach and research on the topic has been inspiring and influential on the depth I have found in the practice of Rolls and I am thankful to them sharing their research with me.
LittleBig Waves is inspired by my interest in Non-Linear Pedagogy and learning process. It is a progressing through the constant dialogue with my collaborators Roser Tutusaus @roser_tutusaus and Matt Mulligan @mattmulligan and their ideas are also integrated withing this video.

Wonderful! Unfortunately I'm only able to roll on a soft surface. Rolling on a hard surface is impossible for me. My Spine sticks out very much. Do you have any tips for such an issue?
Yes, usually the spine sticks out too much when the core is not engaged enough. Try to feel that when you curve into the roll you engage the stomach so much that the hips and scapulas also get involved, this way you will have a bit more of a whollistic round back and it should avoid the pain in the spine. Also, receiving the floor slower and with more resistance with the arms also should be a good idea.
I hope it helps!
@@tomweksler Thank you so much Tom, it means a lot to me! You are a wonderful and inpirational mover and dancer! Keep going!
