So my honest opinion is, the asap song is a hit, but lacks flesh in it, the build up is excellent, but I think he will do his fans a whole good if he invites talents like Mi abaga, falz the bad guy, olamide Badoo, zalatan. He needs a very aggressive verse on that track, and any or if possible all of them will do justice on it.
I like the tune too I just like the blend of the Igbo tune with London youth culture Even though that youth culture isn't really my vibe but I do like the tune and enjoyed listening to the music Just for the Igbo tune 😂
It’s not Igbo tune per se. I would need to go deep into history as to why it sounds Igbo but it’s the Traditional music of the Etsako of Edo state. We even use Ogene sounds but don’t call it that ,and the flutes used in Ojapiano as well. Edo state is called “Heartbeat of the nation “ cos it’s a state with indigenous and lots of different migrant populations all bonded as one people . (Short reason why)
