Uptown always. I feel most comfortable in a blazer or Lady jacket over trousers and a sleeveless mock turtleneck preferably with a monochrome or neutral color palette and a pop of color from a scarf or jewelry. But I think what matters is matching your style to your ethnicity. Certain styles just suit certain ethnicities more. A pale Nordic type looks overwhelmed wearing bold African prints just as a Latina may washout in a pale sand and blue coastal grandma look. Wear who you are but don’t be a cosplay character.

Thank you for sharing your Uptown style! And I love your perspective on authenticity in fashion-I also believe that at the end of the day, style should feel like a natural extension of who we are. ❤️

I'm 58 years young, I mix and match. 100% uptown ladylike ages a person my age, I like youthful pieces but not grunge

Umm, I think Prada is just as much downtown as it is uptown. Prada has always had a vintage vibe to it that lends a curated thrift feel.
