“Passage”, what a legendary record, this live version is astonishing.
Passage was the best balance between power, dark and modern sounds.
Saw them in 2004, will see them 25.02.2024 in Warsaw - this time with my son..

What a blast performance ! I did listen passage few days ago after many years, didn't even realize it's 25th anniversary 😃It's still MASTERPIECE. I remember well when this album came out, it divided fans but in the end it turns out to be highest level of creation. Passage It's still my fav along with Ceremony and Eternal. We now need new album from SAMAEL.
Sounds amazing in this live recording. The album still sounds relevant today.

It's written in the video description that it was mixed by Raphaël Bovey at MyRoom Studio. He's the guy who mixed one of the best Gojira show you can find on youtube (Poland rock 2018), no wonder the Samael track sounds so good

26 years but who's counting? This album legitimised the drum machine for me and inspired me to do much. I forgive them for stealing my logo style. I see it as a trade.

You might wanna check out The Sisters of Mercy. They used drum machines much earleir (80s) and I think they had an influence on Samael 😉
