Eric Cannon was one of the very best long distance pigeon racers I ever met! This was a 45 minute video, which I have edited down to 15 minutes for the internet and I hope you enjoy it. This was filmed before Eric and Pat won NFC Pau Merit Award number four with Champion 'Culmer Bess'.

My father was a doo man. This video has taken me back to crowds of fanciers in our back garden having a dram waiting on the doos coming from Rennes.

The master of distance racing, a purveyor of hardline racing pigeons, forget all this modern sprint racing, these are the true homing pigeons, unfortunately the homing instinct is being bred out of racing pigeons.
