Okay I was hyped, and still am, but I gotta be honest this was not a great video. even ignoring comparisons to other reveal videos this seemed rushed. Not a lot of artwork, a dearth of information, and not even good teasing. In the store page I get more information. Dwarf Knights Errant, what are those? How might they play differently? Heck what *is* a knight Errant (for those of us who are not brettonia simps)? Maybe tell me a bit about how the faction plays? That they master mounted combat in ways other factions wish they could? Tell me if they can grant skills to their horses, maybe tease a new skill for the horses if that is the case. How Field of Screams, one of your latest products, heavily involves itself with their lore? get a little cross promotion going! I am already on the hook, but if I weren't this would have done nothing for me to get me in the game.
Knights Errant are the most peculiar members of the Order. They are descendants of Dwarves who helped Equinar recover the Fountain of Spring. For these Dwarves, as long as Uresh haunts Perdition, the mission isn’t finished. They join the Order and fervently uphold the ideals of Knights. For the landless and poor Knight Errant the path is different, they don’t start equipped as Knights do. Purchase equipment as needed or receive hand-me-downs from comrades. • Ride warhorses with the Cavalier skill but there is no requirement to start with a mount. The first warhorse becomes the favorite. • Wield any Paladin weapon including swords. • Gain proficiency in all Paladin skills though lose access to Dwarven skills, having lost the way Dwarven people live since the Cataclysm. • Squires will not serve them. • A passion for the mission allows your Knight Errant to earn the Crusader master skill as a basic skill though they must have Soulgaze first.
