yeah I love chiori but her teams are extremely restricted on my account always feels halfassed either a geo with a construct thats basically useless or chiori with only one doll :/ Working with any construct/summon would make her much more flexible, the c1 as it stands is the worst one in the game imo, its the biggest case of "should've been in the base kit"
I think 18:25 the explanation of the team downsides was the most valuable part of the video for me. (Better than other creators that just say it “feels clunky” or some other generic but otherwise useless mention.) When going with less common teams, it is really good to know what you have to work into your plan.
Ive been obsessed with this as a team core ever since I got Xilonen-its just so good. Every day I try to swap in a different duo that complements them. Kokomi and Furina joined them to easily clear the abyss this cycle.
The same for me, ive always wanted to use my chiori and i didnt have zhongli so i never used her much but now that i pulled C1 AND got xilonen she got insanly good overnight and im so happy for it
Glad to see others seeing how good Chiori is lately. Got her to C6 this cycle myself and she's easily become one of my strongest characters period. ...Okay yeah, her being C6 would obviously do that, but man she's exceeded my expectations for even that.
I use my Chiori with Ningguang for the small jade screen geo buff but in general it works great for me. Then I switch to next characters, it has time to make some cristallizations which helps afterwards when I come back to Ningguang (who is on Echoing Woods set aka Navia set) so she also gets a great buff thats already has enough time to set up now. Overall really wanted Chiori and no regrets, Glad ure finding ways to enjoy her too
@Solunerra Chiori's geo construct buff passive is 20 sec iirc, and both passing through the Jade Screen buff and Tamatos are between 10 and 15 seconds long so, Ive personally never had problems with the timings I think. Have fun with it!
chiori c1 + xilonen is my favorite core for any team, i c6ed her 3 days ago and she's like the most fun character at c6 and also the strongest c6 in the game.
@@Pako_345I mean I'd agree that Chiori's maybe not THE best limited 5* C6 period since you could prioritize a lot of different things in an argument for the "best" one like Furina w the universal buffs, but fwiw she is absolutely one of the strongest in the game currently even among like, genuine all-out whale speedrun communities (iirc her top team is C6 Gorou/C3+ Xilonen/C2+ Furina) - easily top 5 to top 10. Chiori C6 is just ridiculously busted as a carry with incredibly flexible rotations and the only real thing she lacks is the frontloaded dmg profile of someone like whaled Arle or Mualani - her sustained DPS is absolutely on par with the best of the best C6 we have lmao. But in all fairness most modern C6 are generally so broken that it's not really that significant who's slightly more so than someone else, like if ppl ever max a character out they will just pick their favorite and not the "best" one :P but like. Chiori's is actually nuts still
Chiori is my absolute favourite. Her and Navia are super fun together. Been strongboxing Husk pieces recently and got her to a pretty good level but the grind to make her even better continues
Also yesterday I tried a max Chiori buffing team with Furina, Sigewinne, and Xilonen and it was clearing as fast as my hyper Neuvi team, glad we had a similar idea here lol
Playing fischl ,ning, chiori with tighnari to the right really fun team . Also been trying xiangling , ning , chiori and ayaka to the right. Really great character been trying for her C1
I was so happy with the timely rerun of Chiori I finally for her signature and two copies for C2. I’ve been using her as sub dps with the harbinger of Dawn and loved her simple but efficient play style 😍 haven’t played her with Xilonen tho. 😩
Soluna is honestly the only reason I built Chiori. I pulled her cuz I thought she was pretty, but a lot of people were negative about her kit. I’m glad Soluna is giving love to some of the less loved characters. :D
After testing her so much. I'm quite confidence saying she's amazing in Non Reaction team. Zhongli+Chiori : good for atk scaler (like arlle) Kachina+Chiori : good for non atk scaler (like Mualani) Or just do triple geo, like you showcase in video. I like her in Arlle double Geo. So easy to pilot team but still pack a punch 👊
My favorite team is the Chiori, Kachina, Furina and Sigewinne. I call it Pop Rocks. Get it...because Sigewinne and Furina has bubbles and they pop and Chiori and Kachina has the power of rock.....Anyways, I prefer building Kachina Crit on Cinder. Because of Sigewinne, i don't need sustain from crystalize. But also Chiori buff Normal attack damage. I can use Kachina enhanced Normal attack to deal more damage and it helps with better rotation.
chiori is good with noelle. that's all that matters to me. unfortunately, i don't have her in my main account and i'm busy saving to get all xilonen and weapon refines that are relevant to noelle (c4r5) and i'm at just c2r1 (i do have a second copy of the sword but i decided not to refine) so until then... i'll make do with yelan, who's now just as good as chiori thanks to xilonen and furina.

You would want to use Kachina before Chiori for several reasons 1. Kachina's CD is longer 2. Chiori's dash slash deals significant damage so it would be better to buff it with Kachina first 3. Her skill might eat up the element aura that Kachina needs to activate the scroll set. And crystalize reaction can only be triggered once per second no matter how fast your geo application is.
My favourite thing so far is Chiori (c1), Xilonen (usually and sometimes Navia instead), Furina, Sigewinne. :) My Sigewinne is a c6 dps monster though, so Xilonen or Kachina works much better for me :)
I swap Kachina for Xilonen though, at C0 you lose 1 chiori doll (1/3 damage, not half because of her A1 passive) but you gain geo & PECH res shred and a actual healer, it's an actual DPS increase IMO
Interestingly, from a team dps perspective using Xilonen instead of Kachina would still be better in many cases despite the lack of a construct, and of course it would also be better than with Zhongli. And I do think the devs' choice to not give Xilonen a construct, while frustrating, was very much intentional in light of this - after all, her double geo core with C1 Chiori is... kinda disgusting lol, so they probably wanted to avoid it being a thing with C0 Chiori too. But nonetheless Kachina's existence as a free character is very good for Chiori, no doubt about that

Yes, I actually cut out me talking about Xilo/Chiori(C0). My focus was on how good the double Geo core with the free character was, not the premium one lol. Generally speaking if you have Xilo Im fairly certain most teams, even with Chiori C0, will perform meaningfully better than with Kachina

I'd go chiori only cause sub dps have a better shelf life. Dps come and go and always get a better option. Hu Tao isn't bad but she doesn't hold the value she once did
bruh that harbringer of dawn equipped is hard to watch, it kinda cringed me a bit coz I kinda run a team comp like that with Ninguang and Benny when she was released. I tried the Isshin blade with just the ATK stat stick, not for me, and no cinabbar. But now, she had no more issues coz I pulled for her weapon on the recent banner, so we're just min-maxing now.
ya but not with Furina apparently, coz I optimized her to burst guaranteed crit with Jean a while back and got bored with it bec. of puny numbers. But it had been a disclaimer at the start so just scanned through up until the time she switched to PJC. Chiori is truly one of the char. of all time.

Had to pull through Uraku to get Peak but don't have Chiori, still not sure if I'll get her & certainly won't on this banner as swiping is out of the question.
uraku was already a great stat stick and has only got better with xilonen's inclusion on so many teams, it's extremely good on characters like clorinde, ayato or even furina in some cases when they have her in their teams
Isn't swapping midair in combat exactly what that swapping mechanic is there for, as it allows a plunge with the next (claymore) chara? As a direct upgrade to Albedos elevator flower, which works off field so allows another chara to plunge, but can be destroyed.
You can do that of course, but only being able to do so once every 16s limits its relevance pretty significantly. It may well just have been intended to be an Albedo elevator equivalent tho
dbane in this video because Fav, while good, is weird, since Kachina doesnt actually hit enemies when you cast her skill, and you need to be on field to proc Fav. So if you burst consistently with Kachina and trigger fav on burst activation it makes sense, but I chose to go the full EM route for more shielding
I think it could been better for how you enjoy the game tp get albedo instead, i have both and imo chiori is 1:1 albedo but better dmg, but albedo has EM buff, single instance of geo that could be interesting on shadder teams in the future and he doesn’t need a second geo to work unlike chiori, cool video tho, it would been good to see cinnabar comparison
Yeah honestly considering the reaction buffs going on you arent wrong lol, I could very well end up liking him more just because of the EM buff. I will consider it if he ever reruns
"I don't want zhongli." Dies for local legend for not having any shield or healing, people do youself a favor and use him instead of Kachina at least in overworld so you can have peace
Nah. For further context, I dont consider it a problem that I die in Genshin. I find it more engaging to die and having to pay attention to enemies. You can disagree for yourself, but I do not want Zhongli (not for shielding at least). If I end up getting him it would only be to show him being the best Physical DPS in the game lol
I’m surprised you saw her initial release as sort of pointless, though I guess it is understandable if one does not like primarily geo teams/characters. In my opinion (as a geo lover), she was an awesome and somewhat necessary addition to geo. While she is niche, geo is full of that, and it’s nice to have someone who can proc crystallizes without only buffing defense on my account. It’s also nice to have a different construct creator option since albedo is… less than ideal. On another note, I always forget then find it kind of irksome that she doesn’t have two dolls at base form. I got super lucky on her first banner, so now I’m constantly forgetting that I actually have her c1. Glad you’re finding more enjoyment with her, though ❤

I have a C1 R1 Chiori with a C2 R1 Xilonen and

Yeah I plan to level up Ning eventually and will probably try to use her there, particularly since Chioris CDs line up well with Ning iirc

Nahida is very good for most dendro teams, hyperbloom is definitely one of the cases where you will likely notice the damage increase

I think it could been better for how you enjoy the game tp get albedo instead, i have both and imo chiori is 1:1 albedo but better dmg, but albedo has EM buff, single instance of geo that could be interesting on shadder teams in the future and he doesn’t need a second geo to work unlike chiori, cool video tho, it would been good to see cinnabar comparison
Yeah honestly considering the reaction buffs going on you arent wrong lol, I could very well end up liking him more just because of the EM buff. I will consider it if he ever reruns

For further context, I dont consider it a problem that I die in Genshin. I find it more engaging to die and having to pay attention to enemies. You can disagree for yourself, but I do not want Zhongli (not for shielding at least).
If I end up getting him it would only be to show him being the best Physical DPS in the game lol
I also have never and will never pull Zhongli, boring character and boring gameplay.

r5 craftable from natlan is very good on chiori, for my build it was 5% better dps and this weapon makes her consistent in furina teams

I’m surprised you saw her initial release as sort of pointless, though I guess it is understandable if one does not like primarily geo teams/characters. In my opinion (as a geo lover), she was an awesome and somewhat necessary addition to geo. While she is niche, geo is full of that, and it’s nice to have someone who can proc crystallizes without only buffing defense on my account. It’s also nice to have a different construct creator option since albedo is… less than ideal.
On another note, I always forget then find it kind of irksome that she doesn’t have two dolls at base form. I got super lucky on her first banner, so now I’m constantly forgetting that I actually have her c1. Glad you’re finding more enjoyment with her, though ❤
