Agreed signing Tyus to 20 mil a year deal is a way smarter choice than giving up multiple first rounders for Trae Young who sucks on D is an inconsistent shooter and is also a coach killer.
@@emilfrederiksen.1622 I don't think that he could be a coach killer with Gregg Popovich but other than that miracle run to the Eastern conference finals this team has been very mediocre being led by Trae Young. Unfortunately that's what happens when you have an ISO player who doesn't shoot with a great percentage and can't play defense at all. I don't know about Tyus' defensive skills because I didn't watch Washington but I know that he has a great assistant turnover rate and always has. You can get him and I still have enough money and draft capital to pick up some other quality players. It doesn't take somebody special to throw a lob to the Alien.
Tyrus Jones is not really an upgrade from Tre Jones.

Wemby is gonna be a top 10 player next year if not the MVP. They are ready to be contending for a championship. They need to put the pieces around him not so that they aren’t stuck winning 20 games next year. 1 or two good players & they can easily be a 5-8 seed in the west
