I, too, have seen weird shit as a corpsman. I can't get enough of these. It reminds me of what we did when we were bored on deployment or standing watch; tell stories of goofy shit that happened to us at one time or another. No one speaks how we spoke so it's nice to hear the lingo again. Plus you have covered a lot of areas like the back gate at Lejeune, 29 Palms, Iraq, and other Marine stuff that I am familiar with having served in 2/8. Hope to see many more and I really appreciate them.

so we're these hands attached to long arms, attached to some central body of like an octopus with a million arms instead of tentacles? Or were they just loose hands floating and moving independently but some how able to exert pull onto the 2 Marines, with out the use of anything tethered to them for them to pull with? The latter option being impossible of course, but no more impossible than the any situation involving preternatural hands/🐙! I'm just curous what the author actually had in mind for how the monster(s) looked. The Marine mentions seeing a huge something out of the corner of his eye. So is it a school of hands like a school of fish, or a big monster with thousands of human hands? I really love creature SciFi and I enjoy learning all about the creature and how it lives, moves, eats, hunts etc...

Except the swearing in semi Irish. It's a real immersion killer.

Not perfect. As a vet I noticed one tiny error. Pog P.O.G. pronounced with a hard O. Other then that, it was well done

I absolutely love these Marine stories. I really would have like to join the armed forces but I kept letting people talk me out of it. Anyway, thanks for this, you're awesome.

I'm actually Stationed on an LPD so it was crazy to hear that narration was awesome (as usual) and even though i seriously doubt this'll ever come up in another story anytime soon we just say LCAC like el cack instead of pronouncing the acronym

Great series and interesting story - to be honest, I don’t get what the hands represent, but I was fully engaged with the story nonetheless

Btw narrator: the "L C A C" is pronounced "L-cack" EDIT: Quotation marks to add clarity.

I question the legitimacy of this story on account of the lack of "HOLY SHIT! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON? FUCK FUCK FUCK! WHAT ARE THESE FUCKING HANDS!?"

Narrator sounds like an Aussie doing various American accents. He does them very well.

I'm planning to be sent off to marine boot camp some time in the fall, I'll make sure to post some stories of my own If weird stuff happens. I'm not joining the infantry tho, and most of these stories are from people in the infantry. So I'm not expecting any weird stories.

Man, I'd love hear stories from guards or airmen stationed at area 51. Just be cool to hear about experimental aircraft or something, cool planes that maybe never made it past the prototype stage, but still had test flights lr something. Or some cool tech inside the base that never goes outside

NaturesTemper you should try a southern Kentucky accent, one that will make everyone wonder where the hell youre from, all of my military friends would call home and would get me to talk for the guys and it always perplexed them, be glad to send you a recording hahhaba
