Ok fine, for the past six months i'm doing my homework around share market and investment. Shuffling a lot. had a clear picture about things recently. on the other hand here is a video for 13 mins which sums up my six months. thank you guys. 🙌
It's really interesting, though the key is to determine your own risk appetite and diversify your investments accordingly. This can sometimes be confusing. However, what I do is follow a set proportion. I have an Excel sheet where I allocate specific percentages to different investment tools, such as 40% to large-cap stocks, 5% to gold, etc. (just as an example). I hope this approach helps!
But don't you think so many different ways of investing(MF, Index Funds, ETF's etc.) which makes investing easy for retail investors is creating a bubble in the market? Just assume if 1Cr people are starting SIP into Index funds with Rs.1000/month i.e. Rs. 1000cr is flowing into markets no matter if its overvalued or undervalued. Maybe adding some indication in such index funds/etf's that the companies in these indexes are overvalued will be help for investors. Because what I have seen so far is that people just look at past returns and simply start the SIP. Like private banks right now are not that overvalued so an indicator will help the investors.
@@gurpreetkakkar I am telling that some kind of indicator about valuation of such index funds would help the investors. Not everyone checks the PE of an index fund. Right now people are taking out their savings and putting into market. But if market starts correcting what happens is that retail gets scared and they stop their SIP.
Twist in the plot: The moment you thought you have reached your goal and about to withdraw that amount, there's a pandemic, war, recession. So, planning is good but don't overthink on achieving goals. Keep investing and live your life happily.
Yes true but then no one can predict the market completely. But you start withdrawing money at least 1 year before reaching your Goal. It can be a small monthly type withdrawal for a year and keep the amount in either your bank or a short duration fund.
Could you please provide some insights into the Nifty Midcap 150 Index? Do I need to have a separate index fund for each financial goal? What if I have five goals with different time horizons? While this approach may be suitable for beginners or younger individuals, I am interested in a goal-based investment strategy for a 40-year-old family man with four primary goals (2 kids’ education, marriage, and retirement). Kindly provide a detailed explanation of index investing for such an individual. Thank you.
So if i may - You have 3 goals, all presumably 10+ years ahead. You need a combination of SIP + lumpsum to reach faster. Get 3 mutual funds for 3 goals, or you can get more as well. Just withdraw equal amounts whenever you need. 1. Nippon small cap fund 2. Axis small cap fund 3. Nippon mid cap 4. Hdfc mid cap 5. Mirae asset large+mid 6. Parag parikh flexi cap My investment style is risky so i will have more exposure in small cap, but you can decide on the funds and percentage you want to alot, you won't go wrong all above are great funds. Now you need to move your FD , RD , real estate wealth, into above funds as lumpsum. Let Market come below 22k and then invest all existing money. For next 10 years do SIP non stop and don't withdraw for small expenses. All your goals will be achieved
Thanks For your information & Shared Excel, I Created a Realistic Roadmap to achieve the Goals not Based on assumption, it is Hard For me to digest reality But I Have to work Smart to succeed 💌
