Woah!
JESUS CHRIST. KING OF kings, LORD of lord's.
He's not my state rep, but ill still claim him.
So…either Deevers is putting something I already know in terms I’m not used to hearing it in, or else his points are going straight over my head. Is he mostly talking to Christian entrepreneurs? Businessmen? Politicians? I’m confused.
Also as a minor gripe why do these guys always assume that every guy is married? Or like it’s a simple thing to achieve? Oh sure you’ve got the CrossPolitic outro but other than that there’s this assumption that all men should be able to easily find a wife by 24 and there’s this assumption that the husband-wife stuff is applicable to all of us and absolutely no mention is made to the single guys who are looking for a wife. It gets irritating and distracts a bit from the message when both realities aren’t mentioned. Both are important.
👊🏼🔥🙏🏼
One prays that God in His great mercy might save us but for the "10 faithful" like He would have saved Sodom and Gomorrah. Our society is undeniably a modern day version.
You're right about our society being a modern day version. Here's what the prophet Ezekial said about them: "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen." S'pose if our society stopped being so arrogant, stopped overfeeding ourselves, started being concerned about our neighbors, and started helping the poor and needy, do you think that God might save us?
What would Christendom 2.0 do for the persecuted and oppressed Church of Christ living in Muslim countries?
Go and rescue them.
@@RightResponseMinistriesThat's very vague. It could mean to over throw government and set up a puppet regime or it could mean to evacuate those Christians to the US. What exactly will rescuing them look like when it happens?
On the Subject of Obedience
There is no sin in the world that God has punished with such severity and detestation than the sin of disobedience. For the sin of idolatry, the Lord sent the sword among his people, but it was never heard that the earth opened and swallowed up any but rebels against authority.
The Bible says that obedience is better even than the particular acts of religion. A man serves God better who follows his rulers in any lawful service than one who refuses to obey instructions on the premise that he must go worship or say his prayers or do the Lord's work in some way. Why, because rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft.
Obedience is in itself an act of virtue. It is an act of humility, mortification, self-denial, love to God, care of the general public, of civil order as well as love to ourselves and our neighbor. Like Christ has shown, to be a subject is a greater temporal blessing than being a King. Old Time Preacher
Every time you hear "King Jesus" you're hearing someone with no relationship to Jesus. Get up and go.
I’ll never forget being the only church to refuse to close during Covid. Never once did we close services. The only flack and hate I received came from the other pastors in town and professing believers. Here’s the thing, if you folded during Covid at the very threat of a possibility of trouble, you will likely fold again when the threats of hard are probable. Unless you have repented and admitted wrong doing for closing the church your pastor, you have learned nothing and will fold again. So far, only Joel Webbon had the fortitude and integrity to do just that.
A word from the old brethren of the past.

You've got some bad discernment.
@@smokyquartz5817 I’m sure after you have had your clot shot and fifth booster you’re just filled with discernment. Enough wisdom and humility that you could teach us all about it.
@christophercunningham5434 Can't teach you son.
We don't serve a limp wristed, gay king! Bingo!
You don't serve anyone..
@@smokyquartz5817 I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you aren't calling Jesus gay. And I am going to assume that you missed my point which is that we serve Jesus, not a gay king, which is a quote from Dusty Deevers in this video.
@ronaldsmall8847 If Jeses were gay, he no less died for you. Not something I would want to confront at the end.
@@smokyquartz5817 Does the warden know you're out of your cell?
@@ronaldsmall8847 Yes, they let me read my books in the sunshine. And my focus is the Word of Lamb. Never heard of a guy named Dusty Deevers. Is he self published? We don't get those here since it's not considered legitimate writing.
The Modern-Day Political Preachers don't have a clue. Read carefully what the Bible teacher said below in the late 1800's. Mr. F.W. Grant points out a few instances when Jesus could have made it absolutely clear regarding war, politics and our involvement with the political system of the day. Here is one in Luke 13:1. There were some present that told the Lord about the Galileans that rose up and whose very blood Pilate mingled with their sacrifices. Here Religious antipathies meet with political power. This account of what Pilate did made the blood of every native Jew boil with hate and rage. Just like many seem to rage today concerning politics and those that they disagree with politically. Here was a pagan government profaning the worship of the true God and with bloody hands. What does Jesus reply to them that raised the issue with him looking for his support against the government?
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. He says nothing to the issue. He slanders no one and says nothing about resisting or seeking to overthrow the government in any way. No angry words against the governor's crime and notice he had no commendation for the Galileans as martyrs for their country or their religion. Jesus never acted politically and he never ever sanctioned it in others. Barabbas found out quickly that he had the wrong man in the Lord Jesus thinking he would involve himself politically and help fix the government for the Jews. It was the same with John the Baptist the greatest man born among women. He was slain by the order of an ungodly leader and for the worst of reasons. The wish of an adulterous woman. John is murdered and Jesus does nothing against the cruelty and tyranny of Rome or Herod and what he did.
Now, everyone that wants to follow the Lord Jesus raise your hand!
Do you know what crime the early Christians were executed for in Rome?
Tell me what crime was it?@@chadbarel9867

Who in the world ever said anything about a limp-wristed gay king, anyway? Who are you even talking about? Quit making stuff up to score political points.
