I cannot believe how wonderful your ReStore is. So jealous. Mine is so sad and dirty, nothing really beautiful...just a lot of that orange wood furniture from the 80s.

Yes, you are so lucky to be in an area that gets a lot of donations from high end furniture stores. Ours usually gets a bunch of stuff they couldn't pay me to take and the stuff that is worth having they charge too much for it. The building supplies are about the only things worth shopping for in there. Maybe you get a lucky furniture find once in a while.

The little Christmas house is meant to hold candy canes, rather than pencils. Though you could certainly store pencils in there if you wanted. I have a similar house my grandmother made.

Hey StateWench! I LOVE that!!! Family is so important! I'm sure they feel the same about you! Aww...Paris is a distant goal. But, he's so wonderful, I may get surprised for sure! Here's a side story about him...when I was a little girl, maybe 5 years old or so, I got a baby doll for Christmas. It was a pretty ballerina in a pink tutu with blonde hair and a crown. She was supposed to twirl and move. But, she didn't work. My parents took her back and I never got a replacement. I guess they didn't have anymore. I worried about my baby for years. I told my husband that story and described her to him. He searched the internet and FOUND my babydoll and surprised me with her. I was home alone when the doll came. I had no idea what it was. When I opened the box, I sat in the floor and cried. He told me that he wanted to make a different ending to my story. So after all of the years, I have my babydoll!! You wouldn’t want to go to Paris now, I saw on the news they’re having a infestation of bedbugs! It was spotted on the trains and movie theatres!
I’m supposed to go March of next year, hope they clear up by then!

That vintage, blue, hard shell case! My grandmother had one just like it! She gave it to my mom and she used it to put her makeup in it when going on vacations! I remember wanting it as a kid to put my Barbie clothes in! Haven't seen one of those in forever! Loved the German Nutcracker and Santa's! Also loved those vintage Scottish figurines! @@comegowithmetoday Writing has always been a catharsis for me. Even as a child, I wrote poems, stories, and plays. My senior year, I made a good bit of money writing other people's term papers.🤣 I wanted to go to college and major in literature but God had other plans for me. The first novel I have worked on is based on my life. Being an only child, raised by my mother, aunt and grandmother. Being fatherless. Being horribly bullied in school. The second is about an Irish woman who comes to America as a bride but ends up being captured by Cheyenne Indians. She bears a child and the child struggles to find herself as she is outcast by both her tribe and "the white world". Hmmm, I sense a pattern here 😁. Will anything ever become of these stories? Nah, like I stated, it's just therapeutic for me. And fun! Thanks for inquiring though!

Really loved all the Christmas items in this video💜! I would have bought that rocking horse for sure🎄! I really liked the 3-piece section with all the beautiful pillows. I also liked the 3-piece teapot, sugar and creamer so much and last, but not least, I would have gotten some of the jewelry pieces🤗. You always do such a great job explaining and showing each item💜💜!

I noticed they have my couch there. I think it had a 40.00 tag on it lol. I love McCoy pottery. I just moved here from Alabama (Indiana) to a tiny town and just found out the larger town about 15 minutes away has a HFH!!!!!! I'm so excited and my daughter and I will be going tomorrow.

Thank you Kelly for the walk through. I just loved the wing back chairs and what s steal. When I grow up I would love to learn how to paint. I do paint as a crafter but I want to learn how to really paint. Things like flowers. The nut rackers would be a wonderful collection. I love to collect snd I have beautiful porcelain dolls, tea cups and a pig collection. This was fun and I loved all the Christmas decor.TYFS

I hate to tell you this but on the news they featured a story about Paris being over run buy a huge bed bug infestation and how they can control it before the Olympics. Nine in ten houses have them and they are on buses and trains etc. 😵 👍💕
