Thank you very much for this. I like the sound of the MSFS version and this Flying Irons have built a fine model. I enjoy all three of the Spitfire Mk. IXs available in the three sims so looking forward to your comparison video.

Anyone else find it’s really hard to take off and the rudder doesn’t really work
You can't give full throttle before you have gained some speed. The rudder doesn't do much at low speed because there is no airflow across the rudder.
If you're using a twist rudder on the joystick, I find you really need to be very gentle with it on take off and landing. Very easy to over rudder. Add a little rudder and wait a second to see how the plane responds.
I followed your procedure but the Spitfire will not start. I need to use the ctrl-E to auto start the plane.
Did you turn on the starter and boost coils?

How do I keep the flying iron spitfire from always wanting to push the nose downwards in flight?
Make sure you have trim bound and just trim as normal

Mixture-set to on or open when engine catches (P51D)?
Mixture fully forward for P-51 when it catches
its not working.. i cant turn the spitfire ON It just doesnt work

IT WAS UNDERPRIMED! its not working with 5 times ,. i hade to prime it 8 times !
ok. it worked only 1 time. now i have the same problems again. its always "underprimed" no matter what i do it says "underprimed"

I don't want to say anything about your reviews in fact I love them but MSFS is a truly bad sim compared to the previous versions where you had more say over your control settings and the sound is seriously bad I find. Thanks for the review but I wont be spending more money on this sim.
This one isn’t a review, it’s how you startup, taxi, takeoff and land the spit “if you bought it in msfs”
It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I enjoy it.

You do not use right rudder trim? 😲 I need it to stay more or less aligned with the runway.
Appreciate the new tutorial with the updated version. Been awhile since I've flown and didn't go well when I tried the other day, with the new additions. Always happy to have more realism.
I bought the Spitfire and can't get it into the air. As soon as I set power, the aeroplane stalls to the left and I catch it with a lot of right rudder. But then - long before take-off speed - the left wing goes down and skims the tarmac.
I think it's going to take me a while to get this right
Spitfire is quite hard to control on the ground. Don't punch the throttle forward, advance power really carefully and use rudder toe brakes to stay on the runway, once you get more speed you can rely on the rudder.
I'm sold.

For the life of me I cant get this thing to start without using ctrl E, any ideas what might be not working? Flying v1.2.1 and following exactly what you do
Move the throttle forward fully, then back. That will click the battery switch on. I had the same issue recently
@@TacticalPascale ah it wasn't the battery for me, turns out I was underprimed. Using the tablet live info helped fix.
How does your spit not turn to the right ween flying? My plane Goes crazy because of the torque! All this is after the update.

There is impossible to make a loop...plane makes a roll at the top and stall. Everything is triped etc

No, Xbox doesn’t have VR.

Ok but where is the battery switch!
On the throttle, it automatically switches on if you move the throttle far enough forward
