The saint Srimanta Sankardeva carried this pravandha gaan to the Assam and added this . Now a days it is not possible to find the pravandha sangeet in India instead of Assam . The "Borgeet" is the only one that is the form of Pravandha sangeet and the Borgeet is the traditional East Indian classical music of Pravandha Geet.
