The first streetbike I ever rode was a 1971 or 72 Yamaha rd 250 2stroke that my stepdad got for free from a friend with a free parts bike. It was fun and comfortable. I was around 14 at the time riding around the neighborhood. I’m 53 now and love my zx14r.
Yeah those first 30 seconds were so blasphemous. I pray that Yammie truly opens his heart to Jesus, He’s always been protecting him in all his rides after all
I really like the full fairing Ducatis I'm not a big fan of naked bikes and I don't know if it's just me but I do not feel comfortable riding 250 and 500 because of those skinny tires I know that there are probably plenty good enough but for me I just want the width of the 600 tire at least
@OnMeNerves no malfunction or blame on the bike....I am simplifying saying that out of all my 13 years of riding different bikes, a honda is the only one that hurt me.
@@jerodwolford2743 Why not? If you do it right you wont even notice the weight of the bike. And how come if falls away from the kickstand, badly mounted or leaning floor?
@darkiee69 hell if I know. I'm not the owner of the bike lol. I wish I was. Vfr800s are fuckin sick 😂. The only time my bike has ever "fallen off" the kickstand was when I didn't make sure it was fully extended and my bike rolled forward. Classic beginner mistake.

Didn't expect to get emotional on a Yammie vid, but the story of the guy riding with his Dad after getting clean hit just right. Props to you my man, and as a father with 3 kids, I promise that your pops is proud of you.
That was me! I never thought it could be this good. They never gave up on me, even when they probably should have. My parents were the reason i survived. I woke up one morning and realized i was not the man they raised me to be. And ive promised to myself and any gods listening that i will never go back.
Would love to get your opinion...i have bought my first bike being a vmax 1200 and I've had it for about 3 months now...a friend of mine loves it to and wants to swop me he's 2002 suzuki gsxr 1000...whats your opinion of it, should I consider swopping or keep my vmax
Yammie, I’m 39, don’t have a big budget, gotta get gear, in Georgia (USA) rural area, trying to decide Magna V4 750 or SV650? I grew up on dirt bikes but just wana ride not sure if I wana do nooners and all that 😅 maybe I could see it but fairly tame probably do some pulls but we got a lot of hills and corners but not interested in going real hard on the street, what do you think?
@@erickmontero6222yeah wouldn’t be look forward to it but I have been a shade tree since I was 16, my dad had been a automotive mechanic his whole life and inherited almost all his tools and I have a large shop in my yard so I have the space and tools and not to afraid of it. But I’d rather have something I can just buy and ride of course… I maybe romanticize the idea of NOT having EFI though… something about (I know the Magna is water cooled) but air cooled carbed stuff just running forever appeals to me. Built and had a turbo sport compact for like 18 years though I doubled the hp on (1990 Eagle Talon Tsi) so I know how to tune EFI as well less familiar with carbs but… again not afraid of them also considered a CB750 an old 70s one for this reason buuut modern frames and suspension would be nice… P.S. the problem is knowing what I know and being a TIG welder, with a carbed bike I’m going to want to weld in bosses into the exhaust and install wide band o2 sensors to tune each carb perfectly….and I duno if I want to do that but it will bug me not knowing how close the A/F ratio is across the cylinders.

bruh when i saw metro i knew exactly where it was lol
Don’t even mention the r9 😢 I’m selling my zx6 and gettin pine the second it comes out
I've been riding for over 13 years with over 70,000 miles ridden and only the honda motorcycle injured me. Yamaha and kawasaki no injuries!!
Unless the bike malfunctioned in a way that wasn’t user error or neglect I think you injured yourself why u blaming the bike 😂

If the guy with the VFR put t on the centerstand it wouldn't take any naps in the garage.
I wouldnt want to put 530 pounds up on the center stand all the time. Itd be cooler if the kickstand just worked lol

If you wanna spend more time riding than fixing buy yourself the sv650
SV 650 there are tons of them out there and parts of plenty
Late 90s Magnas are comfy, cool, and fast but big pain to do those four carbs
