Very great information....Have to comment on the 200 tracks.. why u need to be composing with 200 tracks?.I do film scoring & i dont even use 100 tracks max...200 tracks or above is an absolute over kill.
Great info! However I don’t think it’s good to tell people you don’t need much ram and saying 8GB is enough. When you start off you might not need much, but soon enough you’ll find yourself coming into a more creative space and needing more instruments to build upon which can rack up ram pretty quickly. I think 32GB ram should be good if you’re taking it seriously
Hello, Is there a way to disable the influence of the Komplete Kontrol 61 Keyboard modulation wheel for ONLY ONE instrument in a Multi? I'm trying to use the Baritone Saxophone from Factory Library 2 but can't seem to 'switch off' the tremolo. Thanks
I never played any instrument in my life, but i am having so many ideas that i must bring at least one of them to life. I don't know how to read notes neither how they actually sound. Do i still have a chance to start without this knowledge?
You could build your pc and then be lumbered with incompatibilities and lots of time solutionising. With Apple, it just works. It’s all about choices at the end of the day. Just a thought.
N.I. guy says: "When composing, THE ULTIMATE GOAL is to be able to write music for visual media". Sorry but, what kind of statement is that ??? When I compose music, my ultimate goal is to tune-in inward and listen to my intuitive guidance, and tap into the non-linear wisdom of the universe in order to channel a slice of musical truth. It is NOT to "compose" music for some corporate video... Brahms has probably turned around in his grave by now... :o/
Great video! Everything Native Instruments is GREAT. I'm waiting for the NI DAW.
Tremendous! Great info for young composers!
Excellent video because of an excellent speaker with a full knowledge of his field !
This video is a gem 💎 ❤
Thank you it was very helpful 😀
Glad to hear you like it 😇
Such a good summary 👏

You can use a tablet like an iPad or other to make music. Or your phone as well. There are great apps that do a lot for making music.

Also look at l3 and l2 cache memory.
Quick question, External HHD recommendations? Which fast SSD would you recommend?
I use a Kingston 1 tb external ssd, it’s on Amazon. It’s pretty fast. No problems or glitches also.
I've got the Sandisk Extreme SSD 1TB and it performs phenomenally. Would recommend.
Definitely Sandisk Extreme SSD and if you have a huge sound collection i'd go with 4 TB to future proof.
Thanks for the movie.
Is there an extremely beginner friendly daw (free) out there? I'd love to know that so i know where to start correctly.
Garage Band, Apple's free DAW is a good choice I believe.
Btw.. the first thing you WILL need to make a cup of coffee.. is a cup
😂
What about Cakewalk by Bandlab...a completely FREE DAW that has many free effects and ca also import video.
Thank you, ;-)
Mac has iOS and monopoly on the hardware, but very expensive and restricted. But you can get a purpose build PC for music at half the price.

dammit, what is the string motif at 11:05
Pirates of the Caribbean?
For the DIY/Indie Artist, iZotope plugins going to be the best investment you can get imo.
FL STUDIO IS KING OF THEM ALL LIKE IT OR HATE IT
🤌🏾👍🏾
Wait! You mean, you don't need a pen and paper? 😁
People don't need to spend lots of money.
Lots of money? That’s very subjective. Musk money? 😀
