I think a standard-engine'd 13B-REW FD would be the best starting point, honestly. build it, single-turbo it, enjoy it until it dies. then decide if a 4-rotor is worth all the hassle.
Quad motor FD RX7 would be amazing and sound out of control. Would also like to know whether it would reduce the turn in response with the extra weight over the front? Maybe billet engine might help with that?
Who doesn't dream of an NA quad rotor FD RX-7, I'd love one. FD is my next project car on the list if I can ever budget another project car. I think your budget for that build would have to be bigger than the Skylines, anything quad rotor is big big money.
Did he say peripheral port? You can screw good power out of even a mild extend port if you build the engine properly and have a tuner who knows what they're doing.
Out of all my cars of my little 5 collection. And my bike collection of 12. I love my spirit R. Although mines the blue. And still stock. I love it more than my g81 bmw touring. And my R33 GTR thats also blue. Yeah i kinda like blue😅
Me too I had a fresh import 2000 Rx7 series 8 RB-s in 2014 72000kms it was my dream car for years paid $15500 Sold it 6 months later as I was moving out of the city where there were no rotary shops close Had I had known 10 years later the cheapest they would be was $60k I would have kept it I always thought I’d buy another but once covid hit that dream is out the window
If there was a 4 rotor rx-7 being built by Motive, I'd definitely be watching and listening to every bit of content about it
You can see one by full boost
Do it. You know you want to.
2nd that 👌🏻
The Direct Clutch FD RX7 is totally sensational! That 20B, off the charts!!!!
A quad rotor FD build opens you up to a whole new audience. What are you waiting for!
100% 4 rotor is possibly the most unique and awesome sounding motor and the FD Rx7 is just plain stunning. Do it. Please

one of my bucket list cars especially the SP version. the FD could go on sale today and not look out of place or outdated at all.
Best looking , weight, and most importantly that sound of the rotary Hi RPM motor

Yes. Yes you should absolutely build a 4 rotor, may I add Billet, FD RX7
Yes do it i was lucky enough Drew took me for laps at Queensland Raceway. I also own a err "slightly" modified Series 8 RZ 👀
Love RX7's. Beautiful looking cars, never got the chance to own one and priced out now, but yeah this review confirms that they're great cars.
I think you will want a turbo. Peripheral ported 4 rotors are hard work on the street

YES YES & YES !!! Build a quad Rotor on your channel ... you have to do it !!!

Series 8 😛 It boggles my mind at 6’4” I have more legroom in my Series 2, more than enough as well, than any 7 after and they just got bigger!

Quad is to easy & would really love a NA 5 rotor just to make it that little bit harder to build.
"easy"
Quad fd 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Build ittttttt
Is that question even worth asking? Of course you should. I'm a big believer in if you can do something then you should have a crack
If you were to build an FD do something different to the norm
Yep...... *Diesel* FD Spirit R RX7.....
No you should not sir.
