I just ordered both the itaki pro and shabuki pot since watching your videos. Please keep making this amazing content! I’m disabled and I’m looking forward to cooking bedside with your easy recipes. 🥰💖 THANK YOU!
Oh my gosh I’m so happy about your comment! I appreciate your support and I hope to be able to provide more helpful content to you that you will find helpful!
I keep a jar of lightly caramelized garlic cloves in a jar of oil, in the fridge. The garlic-infused oil is great for many purposes. I also have a small jar of sautéed diced hot peppers. I chop and freeze onions, turmeric, and ginger. These can be frozen in ice cube trays.
I like to prepare onions ahead of time. I cut and sauté a couple of big onions with extra virgin olive oil. Sometimes I add garlic, turmeric, and ginger. This can be frozen in ice cube trays. Pop out a cube or two for a meal. I do the same with pesto. I like to roast a tray of cherry tomatoes and pack these in glass jars in my fridge. Scoop out as much as required. I freeze my homemade bone broth in small glass jars. This way I use a whole jar at a time.
Yeah!! They are pretty general tips on how to cook more efficiently - just even more accentuated with these small lunchbox type things! Thanks for watching!!
Awesome tips! I’ve often wondered how efficient this appliance might actually be! Lol, though it definitely seems super useful for meal prep or traveling!
Yeah! It’s definitely not something you want to do too much if you are cooking for a family just because of the portion size limits (though there is a “jumbo” version). But certainly there are ways to make it more efficient and I’m always looking for better ways of doing things!
Hi. New subscriber here. Just ordered itaki pro but it hasn’t arrived yet. Please could I ask-how do you check safety of meat eg chicken being fully cooked or the same for reheating meat? Thanks a lot. Can you cook frozen meat? I’m intending to use it on tour as a musician. Normally I end up eating rubbish and feeling awful.
