The officer in the situation, it shouldn't have been his first instinct to shoot the dog as soon as the task became too unruly. It's not about a dog being killed, it's why the dog was killed. @@juodagalvesniegena714 Soooo what were the symptoms that made him believe that the dog had rabies? From my understanding the caller said that the dog was simply injured. From the footage we don't see it acting aggresively, nor does the cop make a comment about foam in mouth or other symptoms of rabies. Even if the dog had one of the symptoms of rabies, it wouldn't be enough to conclude that it had rabies, since it could have been something else. Do you want the police force to make such important decisions (To k!ll) from baseless assumptions?

I don't even see the appeal to try to defend what the cop did, the dog clearly did not have rabies. A ''might had'' is not enough to make the decision to just k!II it. To top it of the officer obviously did not think it had rabies, look at him casually approaching it.

That cop is a complete monster, not only did he fail to uphold his duty to "protect and serve" but also failed Teddy's owner who lost a member of his family that day.
