There is alot of speakers that are overated and people still rate them high just because of what they used to be. You are doing a great job of telling us what is better for the money. Ive had most of those in the past and i totally agree with you.

Polk makes a good sounding product they are just always priced to high. They are good buys when they get to half off sales. I will admit I do have a pair of Polk 10” MM SVC and I have been really impressed with them. They handle the power no problem and have a shallower mounting depth making them versatile while still offering a surprising amount of excursion and ability to go lower then expected. I run ported and still very clean sound in a sealed enclosure you can get some good sq if you looking for that. Good videos thanks

You got everything Wrong, you're not even on the same planet as Right. That tells everyone, all your future videos are not even worth clicking on. How can a person be this terrible at reviewing and giving an honest opinion? Just some quick advice, you can't compare speakers with different Ohm impedance at the same volume levels and expect similar results, learn to wire in parallel and series and series-parallel you get the pic.
Four years later and the Kappas have MORE then doubled in price at $240!

no way in hell MB Quarts beating those Morel speakers. Morel can get scrap material off the floor and beat MB (not your old school company) Quart speakers. IMO you discredited yourself here.

I used to have 2 JL audios C2 coaxials 6.5 inch in the doors with C2 tweeters and they sounded fantastic. It would be nice if you compared them to some Orion speakers. I have seen a few videos of you comparing the Orions but never JL audio.

Just wondering why the comparison of new pioneer to renewed Jbl.
you put a ton of jbl and inifinty in your list but i feel you missed some speakers that really should be in the list , pioneer pro series beat jbl's in certain applications , and you tested and know this. as for low budget there are some other speakers that are missing , NVX VSP65 kit , Bzrk Audio ODR65 are like 20$ and frickin amazing at that price !!! also a HUGE missed opportunity here is DIY from parts express , there are SO MANY good drivers that can be had for great value. i love jbl and inifinity the they are not the end all of speakers. i also test many speakers , i do highly agree that those top 10 lists are total bullshit and the people making those lists have no idea what does what , they look at sales numbers from stores and say o well those MUST be good if they sell so many right ? WRONG , hell some of those lists have boss as #1 ..... like wtf lol !? sure they sell a ton of the to people that just want to replace a blown speaker with something .... even if its a crap boss speaker .

I had Infinity Kappa's in my rear deck, The cones disintegrated/crumbled a little after 1 year. I lived in the UK so the climate is not especially hot so don't know why they fell apart so quickly
Hard to believe..... I've been using kappa 50.9/60.9 in a Jeep that was topless a LOT and then a Motorcycle for over a dozen years.... That's from a wide variety of climates... From the high and dry desert heat(115°F+ in summer) and the tropical humidity (95°F +100% humidity) of Louisiana for the last few years...
I have some Alpine Type S 2 way 6.5 in my doors. They're good for what they are. Clean and clear and I paid $40 a pair for them. I'm looking at Orion and PRV mid bass speakers for my next upgrade.
@Tyron Davis. Do yourself a favor and put DS18 Pro Neo6R's in your ride. They make great mid bass starting all the way down at 65Hz -14.2Khz. I have 4 of these on my Harley Davidson Streetglide. The Orions and Prv's won't play that low. The Orion HCCA's start at 130Hz-12Khz.

Morels car speakers are no where near their actual highend stuff for making monitors, if you would equip your car with their actual hifi stuff, it would smash pretty much anything car related in terms of accuracy. I just wish they would use the same quality for their highend stuff in the car stuff, same with focal, same with Polk, its depressing lmao. Least infinity and jbl tries for car equipment... Love the vid man.

I’m trying to get new speakers for my 2013 Subaru BRZ it’s got a stock 3 way 6.5 ,4” in the dash and a tweeter in the dash I’m trying to find something that is great quality but not too much money not sure what to get. Do you have any recommendations?
A lot of those "top tens" are made by people who have never truly listened to the products. They go on sales. Price. And "Specs" but all those can be Squed. Speakers are built for different ears and play styles. I have installed speakers that have like you have Beautiful Highs but no low end. And vice versa. Depends alot on what your going to play with them. i dont have Much so i on my last personal car build went with Kicker because it was good for the price for what i wanted to accomplish. I hope to upgrade soon tho lol. but NEVER go off someone elses Top10. Be like Mike (( lol )) Listen to the diffrence.

Could you recommend a 5.25 component speaker that's higher than $300 up to $400? I have now the Focal Polyglass. It's very old like maybe 10 yrs? Anyways they are in the door and I just dont feel the imaging is good and the sound feels thin. I hear too much treble and not enough mid because the speaker is pointed at my leg. The tweeter is in the dash pointing up to the windshield. I'm coming from a $15,000 home stereo (audiophile). I'm using a Zapco amp and Mats sub amp. I'm looking for a natural slightly warm sound that can handle rock or jazz. I don't play rap or crazy bass but my subs are quite ok. What can you think of? Thanks so much great channel!

Assuming you have a HU/DSP that has gain controls, time correction and crossovers, you'll be able to fine-tune these to sound amazing. I've owned both, and almost kicked myself when I found the Polks (after having already bought and installed the Hertz models in another vehicle). Once I had them "dialed in", you can't even tell where the speakers in the vehicle are located, filling it with a resemblance of being center stage.
I recently watched a video where you suggested the Alpine S-S65 was the best speaker and here you seem to say the Infinity Kappa 621X 6.5 is the best. (non component) Both of them are around $100 so which is better? What size amp would you suggest pushing 4 of them with or 2 of them with? Thanks

Yep it will be fine only if you run loon period of time at mac volume maybe stock unit can't handle but You can run them without worry

until you have to deal with warranty .... they are horrible when it comes to warranty , ive been burned so many times with CT and the other brands Coleman had that id never buy anything from them again, also friends of mine in china that were screwed over , i know the company has had some changes since coleman passed but i still cant bring myself to trust the brand again . RIP Coleman .

@@mikecisneros7330 yea you haven't been in the game long enough to understand then . just like the whole skar audio thing where new people buy it and praise it without ever getting to experience what actual good stuff is . skar , ds18 and CT dont do any engineering of products , they simply slap a name on of shelf products designed by companies in china . they are decent china companies that design the products but they are nothing more than a re-badge company.
you could start your own brand name and order from the same companies and have the same products , tweak the look a little bit and bam .
