Here i am again, two years later. Listening to this song when it was the hardest thing for me to do to myself.
When i first heard this song, i had just gotten over a relationship i was abused in. Landed back on my Dads couch. My older brother and my Dad were guiding me through that dark spot in my life.
1 year later, my dad dies, may 25, 2019 11:25 pm.
Everything that reminded me of him i couldnt stomach to be around cuz it broke my heart too much. Including this song... It destroyed me.
A year and over a month later, here i am... Stronger than i was back then...

Truer words were never spoken. When I first heard this song it was insane. Literally every word applied to my life. So far, it's the only song I've ever heard that was like that.

Yes. You can get yourself back, back up from the bottom. When I first found this song, I was working for a Heartless corporation that doesn't care about its employees. Things may not be perfect, but they're a Hell of a lot better now. We all go through terrible times, but they don't last. At one point I thought about taking my life, but now I have it back.
I leave for a tour and watch this while I am gone to ground me. Memphis means a lot to all of us that grew up in OUR scene. Things happen. People change. We grow up and reclaim what is the right thing to do and say but beyond all that clouds the past We are Memphis and We are all Family. Love my brothers Blake and Joey.

Its not so much that these amazing bands are underrated, it's that UA-cam (aka Google) doesn't promote Rock and Metal bands enough. I get on here and before I login, I scroll down to see nothing but Pop, Hip-hop, Rap, Trap, and even Country, but no Rock or Metal genres! WTF!?!?

Seeing you guys in Sacramento with Skillet and Sick Puppies turned into a fantasy. Ive always loved all 3 of the bands and when the show was over I was put in the deepest thought about my life.
