    One important clarification ... Near the end of the video I say the phrase "Start our family." This is actually a phrase I dislike and didn't intend to use. We started our family on the day we were married! Even if we never had children, that doesn't make us any less of a family! What I wish I said was "Expand our family."

      Thank you for saying this. Before we had our children, my sister in law told us we did not have a family yet. (She said this to her 8 year old daughter) it stung a bit.

      Congratulations 🥰❤🙏 I praise The Lord for giving you the greatest miracle of conception after many years of waiting❤🙏. I'm in the same boat of infertility on my husband side. Due to hypopituitarism and hypothyroidism. Drs. Only gave us a 1% chance if by any means my husband would go through treatments. So after many years I just left it aside for it was very hurtful on a daily basis especially on special family and friends events.

    My mom was 40 when she first started having kids, she ended up having 4. She's now a Grandma at 65 years old. I NEVER as a kid was upset, embarrassed, or even noticed she was older. Know your worth as a mom. You are just as worthy to be a mom as a young 20 something year old.

      Morenike Patricia don’t pressure yourself tings happen when they happen, my mother was told she would never have children a year later there I was she also had a cryptic pregnancy and found out about in early May and I came in the middle of June. Women are NOT baby making machines, we have feelings, emotions and stress about not being good enough due to fertility and we shouldn’t. I feel like 20, 30 years ago most people were conceived after a party while people were drinking and smoking and now we drink green juice and exercise nothing happens. Live your life and stop putting yourself down, everything will be okay!

    My cousin was single for many years and finally met and settled down with someone when she was in her 40s, having been told that getting pregnant would require fertility treatment, she stopped trying and accepted that it just wasn't her story. They were then shocked by a surprise pregnancy and had a beautiful baby boy. Doctors don't know everything, only God does. Congratulations! Please give us an update on your first trimester!

      We were much the same. We had decided going further with fertility didn't feel like the right thing for us, so we had accepted that we were a family of 2, with nieces, nephews and godchildren to love, as well as our fur babies. Well, the very month we stopped "trying" and decided to let go, was the month we conceived. Fertility and parenthood comes easily to some, comes with struggle for others, and for many others does not happen at all. Life is strange and beautiful.

      Georgina Hollenbach I feel sorry for her baby. My parents adopted me when they were almost 40. I got teased horribly and they past away on me. Something to be said for having ones kids earlier in life.

    • @misanthropic985
      @misanthropic985 4 роки тому +2

      🤦‍♀️ it’s called adoption. You’re all so selfish. So many good kids without homes, you selfish old hags pop out babies, then get too old to properly care for them

    • @georginahollenbach8609
      @georginahollenbach8609 4 роки тому +10

      @@misanthropic985 I definitely agree with you. Adoption is definitely something I want to do one day. I am still 27, so no rush there. I don't understand your frustration when in all of these scenarios the women weren't even trying for a baby and had accepted not having any biological children. My mom had me(her 4th child) at 39, my dad was 52. I never got teased. I'm sorry about your bad life experiences, but try not to let that make you hateful or angry towards others. That's just the pot calling the kettle black.

When I realized that, I promised myself that I would ALWAYS keep my word and pray for that person.
    Give it a try, it only takes a few seconds to say a prayer for this person.

      How did you give that up? I can’t seem to stop praying about it and hating my reality, I’ve had a miscarriage this year and 2 pregnancy failures (blighted ovums). It brings you down so low and robs you of your hope and joy. I want to move on but can’t help look at pregnant women and hope it was me. I’m also going through secondary infertility.

I am 36 now so the possibility of having a child is always in my mind. I decided to allow God give me the opportunity to be a mum when I find the right person. Congratulations!!! Your story reminds me so much like my own. My husband and I were married for 10 years before God blessed us with our little boy. We had been told by 4 different doctors that we wouldn’t be able to have children naturally we would need medical intervention. Like you we felt that was not the path God had for us. We also had the questions of when we were going to have kids. We had all the unsolicited advice on how to have kids. I was devastated with every negative pregnancy test. I was angry at my friends and family who seemed to get pregnant I easily. I felt that it wasn’t fair. I didn’t talk to anyone about my feelings. It caused problems in my marriage. We had suffered a lot of loss and heartache along with the infertility. We lost my husbands grandparents who helped raise him, a few years later his mother unexpectedly and then months later his aunt who we were close to. After many trials/heartache/tears we took time to focus on just us. We moved and he took a job offshore. During this time I remember one painful night of my cycle I had to get out of bed I was so miserable. I remember crying out to God and telling him I was done trying and being crushed. If it was meant for us to have a family he was going to have to make a way. I was ready to talk to my dr about permanent measures to end my cycle. I was tired of being miserable each month & heartbroken at the same time. Motherhood was all I wanted. After a couple of months of hubs being off shore I was late again. I was afraid to hope and dream so I kept it to myself. I even experienced some early symptoms that can also be period symptoms so I just assumed my cycle was getting ready to start (for 4 weeks). I was too afraid to hope but at this point I was 5 weeks late which wasn’t all the unusual for me. Knowing my husband was going back offshore Mother’s Day Sunday 2013 I helped him pack up and watched him drive off before I ran to Walmart. I couldn’t help but wonder and I needed answers. If it was negative I would be the only one crushed.
    Even though it was afternoon when I tested and I couldn’t wait any longer. I didn’t even get to finish using the bathroom & wash my hands before it popped positive. I was immediately crying! I called my husband and sent him a picture of the test. He was just as excited but also just a wary. I followed up the next morning with my PCP and was given a due date. I was 6 weeks along by that point. Now we have a happy healthy 6 year old!
    Sorry for the long post. I wish I would have found someone to talk to during those 10 years of infertility. I love seeing other’s who have faced infertility as well being blessed with their miracle babies like myself. Like you said God has his own timing. I firmly believe that. Love and prayers for you during this time!

I have struggled with my faith and have been debating on taking the next step with fertility treatments. I recently decided to leave it in Gods hands. Amber Jones ....please stop trying and just adopt....your age puts the baby at an extremely high risk for complications....there's a reason you're not supposed to have babies after 40....think about all the unwanted babies waiting for a mommy. I know you want one biologically but it's not fair to the baby if they come out with issues due to your age.

    This is so beautiful! I am 33, I will be 34 in a few weeks. After 13 years of marriage and 8 of those years without any contraceptives we have never conceived 😞. My husband and I went through our college years together and have good careers, but as of recently we got more serious with trying to conceive and getting down to the bottom of why that hasn’t happened over the last 8 years. In January 2020 I was told I would never have kids outside of IVF that news crushed our world and dreams. After an HSG we were told both of my tubes were blocked. From there they suggested removing both tubes and proceeding with IVF...I just couldn’t 100% agree to that at least not without a second opinion. We went to a Fertility specialist (we initially went to a IVF specialist) and she suggested a laparoscopy to truly see what’s going on. During my Laparoscopy they had to remove one tube but the other one was just blocked but otherwise fine. They unblocked that tube and we have to wait 6 weeks before trying to conceive!!! But I am tearfully happy!!! My parents are so ready to be grandparents! And I am so ready to be a mom and my husband, a dad! This video has really increased our hope!!! Congratulations!

      You don't need to be married/with someone to have a child. Have a look on Facebook for pages like "sperm donors" and find someone who either wants to co-parent or not. There are soo many kind men out there that are willing to help someone to have a child and 99% of the donors are genuine. One thing i will say though is, draw up a contract between the two of you and both sign it. Haven't clarity before a child arrives is 100% needed. Also, if your not comfortable having sex with some random person on fb, research home AI (artificial insemination) and finally, before you decide that this man is the one you want to help you become a mum, ask for them to have a sti screening and that you want to see the result. I am in a same sex relationship and this is how we have been trying to conceive. A lot of people have success after the first month, some it make take one or two.

He is my 5th and the pregnancies before him were all normal but after my 4th I got an infection and I believe I had the same infection that forced my baby out. Through my research these infections/pathogens in our bodies unknowingly causing “unexplained” issues. From infertility to chronic illness. It will blow your mind! Good thing is that all can be reversed with foods. Check him out! I was skeptical but so much made sense because he explained my symptoms verbatim. Also my preterm birth is what got my attention but I’ve had symptoms FOR YEARS unknowingly. So many things came full circle.

It hurt for a long time when they would say that. You just never know

      Google Biotexcom in Ukraine. If you have proven infertility and are married, you can access their surrogates for as low as $50K USD to carry your child. I'm an American doing IVF there now and have seen tons of happy couples there picking up babies from surrogates. Note, surrogacy in the US is around $100-150K USD from what I have read. If you are over 40 and your eggs are deemed poor quality, they have over 1,000 egg donors that can be combined with your husband's sperm to make embryos.

    Ahh this is great! I just realised I found this a year late so you will have your child by now but still, congratulations!
    My mum had me when she was 41, I am her only child (though she did have 3 miscarriages before me).
    Unfortunately, she has early-onset alzheimer's now which is awful because I'm only 23 and we started noticing it when I was 18. But she has been an amazing mother and her age doesn't bother me. I love her more than anything and I'm so grateful she was the one to bring me into this world. I am extremely happy for you!! Never too late to expand your family, this is just the beginning of a beautiful lifetime ahead with your child

    I was given the diagnoses of unexplained secondary infertility almost 5 years ago. I just turned 35 and I know I'll probably never have the money for IVF. I've been very depressed about the idea that I'll never have more.
    This gives me hope.

The were like twins, being each other’s best friend. That was the best but in some ways the hardest part of my life. My children are now 23, off on Their own and I miss them every day. You have so much joy ahead of you. Take care of yourself and your baby.

    Wow God bless!! I am 23 years old and it’s amazing to see how much God works!!
    In Isaiah 55:8, he says “ for my thoughts are nothing like your thoughts and my ways are far beyond anything that you could imagine”... He really meant that! We serve a God who is confident in his character and confident of all his promises! When we pray, he promises that he hears us... when we pray, He promises that whatever we ask in his name, is ours!! I believed God knew your desires and heard them but was preparing you for spiritual growth ! There’s nothing God can’t do! He comes at the last minute and rescues us! Your faith and belief, even when you thought you had none left is what grabbed his attention all these 12 years!! You continued to trust in Him and His plans and for that he has rewarded you!!
    Congratulations! All glory to Him always! May God bless you and use you as a vessel to propel His Kingdom!!

    This is a really beautiful video that just popped up in my recommendations. I cried so hard at the part where your family found out! It took my parents 17 years to get pregnant with me and my mum was also 40 when she got pregnant, I was practically her 4 1st bday present 😊. My parents also didn't feel adoption or fertility treatment was for them and the doctor's were shocked when it happened naturally! Wishing you the best for your pregnancy and wishes to everyone who is trying. For the record, I have always loved having older parents, they had a lot of life experience to pass on to me and I think I inherited more traditional values from them

    My best friend was infertile with her husband and not on birth control for 16 years. At 42 she had an incredible surprise. She had quit gluten after getting a diagnosis of celiac disease. After an adjustment period she found out holy moly. I’m having a baby. She now has a beautiful four year old daughter after her step children and her firstborn were between the ages of twenty three and thirty-six. Her stepdaughter has a pair of thirteen year old identical twin boys and a daughter (I think) around 8. So those grandchildren now have an auntie younger than all three.
