God I love how Okarun brought down that dude to his knees. And remember, the kids couldn't see him transform. They just saw this nerd they always bullied do that.
Yeah, they saw a short four-eyes school a tall, athletic, popular guy and make him apologize while bringing him to his knees. Quite a sight for the classmates around :D
I’m not a manga reader so this is just my anime-only guess, but while Turbo Granny may have started off as just a wandering spirit that wanted to console girls that met unfortunate ends, she’s definitely not pitiable now. Centuries of watching girls get brutalized by men probably wore her down to the monster we know now. Hoping that now she’s in “time out” and forced to hang around a guy and girl that are perfect complements of each other, she’ll start to regain a bit of her humanity.
@@DeanBarryStuff Others have probably mentioned it, but there is a running theory that Turbo Granny went through the phone to save Momo in episode 1 specifically to save her from being SAed like the other girls.

No - the boys that talked about Momo didn't see the transformation. They cannot see supernatural. Most humans can't most of the time. Turbo Granny was sort of neutral. While this show might show us a bit of backstory on supernatural creatures they meet, I don't feel it will be like Demon Slayer where every demon had a backstory so sad that it not only explained why they do such things but almost shown them in positive light. Some will probably be tragic, but others won't. I seriously don't remember Manga, but I doubt it will go in the direction of making EVERY single enemy understandable through backstory spanning whole episode. To the point that I honestly had enough of Demon Slayer, because it felt like it sacrificed character development of main and secondary characters for past character development of murderous to nth degree demon supremacists. Sorry about the rant on Demon Slayer. I also read that Manga, but while this was decent in Manga, it grew to such an extent in Anime that it made me stop watching Demon Slayer. Though season 1 and Mugen Train were still great. But it just got a bit... I forgot the word... "formulaic"? Dandadan on the other hand looks like a show that balances those things and even prioritizes it's main and secondary characters. At least I hope so. I only read the Manga when it started and I didn't even remember Aira, much less how she was etc. All I remembered was shown in Episode 1. That there are Aliens and Yokai.

Yes, this theory is covered brilliantly in episode 7. The spirit became corrupted and obsessed in the afterlife. Really very sad.
