Dear Fr Warner thank you for explaining the reasons why God punished the Northern kingdom. It took him over 200 years & many warnings but the Israelites were beyond redemption because they had sinned greatly. Regarding mixed marriages I'm glad you clarified reasons why you were against it. Fr mine is a mixed marriage but my husband is more influenced into our religion than his own. He gave me a beautiful sculpture of the crucified Christ which we both treasure & pray to every day. Thank you for your valuable teaching. God bless you always 🙏 💞

To explain today's teaching one needs to blessed. I am privileged to have you breaking the word today. I realised how difficult it is to go to hell. And further it's more difficult for you to explain in 17minutes. Praying for your recovery so that I may have a continuous flow of Gods word explained.

After church marriage, they do the temple marriage. Please enlighten us on this issue Father as such practices are increasing today in mix marriages.

That is not permitted by the church but then so many couples knowingly break Gods heart to please men’s heart

What about unmerited suffering? The many people who would have suffered in this Assyrian attack because of a collective punishment? You did speak of not imputing sin to a cancer patient’s suffering. Job was able to understand the immensity of God’s presence in creation but it is hard even when the rational mind understands. Deep faith and surrender to God’s will is an uphill task and needs God’s grace. Courage to endure and reach that understanding is my prayer

Fr...I've just heard your teaching for today, and I thank you for the pains you take to find out and present the historical background of the Book of Kings. Right from Genesis we see how lovingly God called this nation to Himself through Abraham, and to see that they disobeyed God and distanced themselves from Him is very sad. How this must have saddened and offended God. After all the care and guidance of God which they reject, they are finally taken captive and never heard of again! That is terrible. I suppose this is what happens when we fail to revere God. Fr, did the Northern kingdom cease to exist as Israel? Are the borders of the present country of Israel those of the southern kingdom of Judah only?

I will try and I say try to explain this in one of the future teachings . Unmerited suffering is very hard to explain but rather something that we but accept . It used to bother me when as a young priest I used to visit the paediatric ward of TATA hospital . How do you explain so many children with cancer ?
