Michael Jordan was drafted in the 1984 NBA Draft to the Chicago Bulls, and became the best basketball player ever. he is a 6 time NBA champion went to 14 all -star games and a gold medal and a NCAA Basketball championship.

They did him dirty, they should have at least gave him a 75. Man couldn't even graze the rim.
Jordan was also in NBA Live 2004 as a Legends Pool member as well.
The reason he was still in live 99 because if of the lockout that year and he didn't retired yet when the game was released.
He's in NBA Live 96 as an unlockable player...
He was in 99 live because of the lockout this game was released without the nba season even set to play I think they started around xmas or new years that year

The reason why he is Live 99 is because the game came out in November 1998 and Jordan retired in February 1999 that why he is in Live 99

The fact that EA gave MJ a 55 dunk rating in 2003 is an insult to his greatness.

I disagree, it wasn't an insult, it is in line with the fact of how past his prime he was back then, but could STILL ball with young players. In 2003 he was very close to being 40, the age when NBA players MUST retire because basketball is a very physical sport, and your body slowly loses that physicality as you get older, and your injuries heal at a slower rate. At that time he didn't do much dunks because of his age, so he had to rely mostly in jumpshots.

Miles, not sure which print of Live 98 you had for the PlayStation, but the version of the game I had, Jordan was not even a starter. It a white guy with black hair at 6’4” wearing number 24, and he had Jordan’s stats. Anyone who played with the Bulls had to change the lineup at the start.

Yes you can unlock on Live 2000.
Live 2000 you had to beat Mike on superstar level to unlock him
Whereas In The PC Version Jordan Was Available By Default
You missed Live 96 when you just had to put his name in and he would show up

Yo I think on NBA Live 98 you had the players mixed up. It had what I think was Jordan wearing number 9 and it had his height and weight and years pro correct. Dude wearing #98 was probably B.J. Armstrong
