23. And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. 24. And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small." 25. Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance. Surah Al-Isra' (The Journey by Night)
It is the ultimate relationship between a father and a son. To raise your son to become a good man and a warrior with a good heart. It is the reason why u need a good father role in life as a kid. This loss must have been very difficult for khabib
A father sees his son nearing manhood. What shall he tell that son? "Life is hard; be steel; be a rock." And this might stand him for the storms and serve him for humdrum monotony and guide him among sudden betrayals and tighten him for slack moments. "Life is a soft loam; be gentle; go easy." And this too might serve him. Brutes have been gentled where lashes failed. The growth of a frail flower in a path up has sometimes shattered and split a rock. A tough will counts. So does desire. So does a rich soft wanting. Without rich wanting nothing arrives. Tell him too much money has killed men and left them dead years before burial: the quest of lucre beyond a few easy needs has twisted good enough men sometimes into dry thwarted worms. Tell him time as a stuff can be wasted. Tell him to be a fool every so often and to have no shame over having been a fool yet learning something out of every folly hoping to repeat none of the cheap follies thus arriving at intimate understanding of a world numbering many fools. Tell him to be alone often and get at himself and above all tell himself no lies about himself whatever the white lies and protective fronts he may use against other people. Tell him solitude is creative if he is strong and the final decisions are made in silent rooms. Tell him to be different from other people if it comes natural and easy being different. Let him have lazy days seeking his deeper motives. Let him seek deep for where he is born natural. Then he may understand Shakespeare and the Wright brothers, Pasteur, Pavlov, Michael Faraday and free imaginations Bringing changes into a world resenting change. He will be lonely enough to have time for the work he knows as his own.
This is enough to make a grown man tear up. My dad disowned me when I was 5. I will never find the words to describe how hurtful that was. I have so much respect for the real dads out there. I cannot imagine how devastating it was for him to lose his father, coach, mentor, best friend. After he submitted Gaethje, man I felt it. 😔 Rest In Peace.

"my father, I want to say thank you to my father" man this one hits so hard it's getting real emotional.
Yeesh...
One day a blockbuster movie will be made of Khabib, the scene where his Father finally see his son as the Champ and even the time Mr Abdul invite Connor for dinner will be beautiful scenes. Rest In Paradise sir
i often come back to listen to this poem. it's so beautiful. Anik killed the narration too
RIP. We are all human and life comes and goes. Live life and keep fighting

I didn't want to start my weekend crying. Thanks a lot Jon Anik
Me?
Absolutely Legendary I have no words. May Allah have mercy on Khabib's father and grant him Jannatul Firdaus Aameen. Khabib is the GOAT in MMA.
The son who lived for his father's happiness, his proud, his ambitions ❤
After Dana saw BT sports' video on khabib and his dad, Dana was like we need one for our channel, quickly.
100% should've just left it
yep my first thought too!
You know!
@@timw4432 im on the other side of fence. I think this was a fantastic tribute and brought tears to my eyes tbh. Makes you think about your own father and how little time we have with him
He never saw his son lose. RIP Abdulmanap you were a true legend 🙏
Sorry but you’re a casual...Khabib has lost before but not in his professional mma career
@@TougeWarrior93 ok that doesn’t really matter buddy. His father saw him become a champion and that’s enough
@@TougeWarrior93 Your just mad that Khabib smashed your boy Connor McNugget, go cry somewhere else CASUAL
Blue the fuck did I say is wrong? Khabib did lost before his professional mma career and why did you assume that I like Conor? You don’t need to be a Conor fan to like or dislike any fighter and I never show any sign of disliking Khabib.
The Boxing Gorilla yep he got to see the best of his son
So beautiful!

ver prominant verses of the Quran (Muslim's holy book). Thank you for sharing, bro
Beautiful
SubhanAllah
It is the ultimate relationship between a father and a son. To raise your son to become a good man and a warrior with a good heart.
It is the reason why u need a good father role in life as a kid.
This loss must have been very difficult for khabib
Khabib is GOAT ❤️...no one will step like him inside the octagen
0:35 That look sums everything up 😢😢
That was a powerful moment for me in the video also. So much love and respect.
Perfectly captured admiration for his Father.
0:43 look at the legend Abdulmanap’s face how proud he is of his son, one of if not the greatest MMA and Sambo coach ever 🦅🦅 fly high abdulmanap 💚
Khabib will carry on his own and his father's legacy and train the next generation of grapplers and mixed martial artists.
I agree he will train others like how his father trained him
*khabib's bears have entered the training room*
From time to time I come back to this because that poem is so great and the video was so well put together I hope they never remove it
Jon anik just nailed it thanks jon for actually made this beautiful
A father sees his son nearing manhood.
What shall he tell that son?
"Life is hard; be steel; be a rock."
And this might stand him for the storms
and serve him for humdrum monotony
and guide him among sudden betrayals
and tighten him for slack moments.
"Life is a soft loam; be gentle; go easy."
And this too might serve him.
Brutes have been gentled where lashes failed.
The growth of a frail flower in a path up
has sometimes shattered and split a rock.
A tough will counts. So does desire.
So does a rich soft wanting.
Without rich wanting nothing arrives.
Tell him too much money has killed men
and left them dead years before burial:
the quest of lucre beyond a few easy needs
has twisted good enough men
sometimes into dry thwarted worms.
Tell him time as a stuff can be wasted.
Tell him to be a fool every so often
and to have no shame over having been a fool
yet learning something out of every folly
hoping to repeat none of the cheap follies
thus arriving at intimate understanding
of a world numbering many fools.
Tell him to be alone often and get at himself
and above all tell himself no lies about himself
whatever the white lies and protective fronts
he may use against other people.
Tell him solitude is creative if he is strong
and the final decisions are made in silent rooms.
Tell him to be different from other people
if it comes natural and easy being different.
Let him have lazy days seeking his deeper motives.
Let him seek deep for where he is born natural.
Then he may understand Shakespeare
and the Wright brothers, Pasteur, Pavlov,
Michael Faraday and free imaginations
Bringing changes into a world resenting change.
He will be lonely enough
to have time for the work
he knows as his own.
you're a legend for this, thank you
Great work brother
You ctrl c and v like a beast
Thanks. The music is so stupid loud.
English poetry is garbage, it doesn't even rhyme
This is enough to make a grown man tear up. My dad disowned me when I was 5. I will never find the words to describe how hurtful that was. I have so much respect for the real dads out there. I cannot imagine how devastating it was for him to lose his father, coach, mentor, best friend. After he submitted Gaethje, man I felt it. 😔 Rest In Peace.
I hope u r doing good man
A father a teacher and an inspiration. Rest in peace Mr. Numargomedov
No greater tribute can you give a man than to celebrate his son.
There won't be any father and son like them..huge respect for khabib and team...they deserve everything they have now...they earned it..way to go champ... you're a living legend..
LEGENDS NEVER DIE
0:36 the way khabib looks at his dad. You can tell he loves his father.

Legendary man. This was a real man. A real father. May Allah reward him the highest ranks in Jannah, Jannat al firdous, Ameen
Incredible. Well done for doing this and paying a tribute to what was and will be the most amazing father and son relationship we have seen in a while. It doesn't matter if khabib wins or loses. His father is proud of him. We all are. May Allah grant him highest ranks in Jannah and give Khabib courage and patience to deal with his win or loss . Everything from Allah ☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️

BT Sports started it with putting a great video about the relationship between Khabib and his father and coach Abdulmanap.. UFC did great copying it because I love how the media shows respect to his father.
"Father, I will miss you. You were my father, friend, brother and coach in one. You taught me practically everything I know. I hope you were pleased with me," Khabib Nurmagomedov
Abdulmanap thnx for giving us greatest fighter in UFC ever.RIP
Wow, i miss my father. My father is 4 years younger than his father and i still do not improved much as a man.. this motivates me
May memories echo generations beyond our dreams
Real Man. Icon. Legend .
His Father is real Hero..
He is a true legend! Wish someone would make a movie about his father, his legacy and his creations. 🙌
RI.P. Abdullmanap 😢
