To be as frank and earnest as I can report, I was in deep despair about our future before learning about Tomas' work and ideas. In a complete about-face, I am tentatively hopeful that we can reproduce the program of the Nordic countries in the early 20th century to solve our meta-crisis and deliberately facilitate the emergence of a new world view brought about by a critical mass who refuse to see humanity defeated in a time when we could be. Never before have we been in a situation where we are running out of time to remake ourselves and our culture. We really can destroy ourselves and the habitable regions of the earth if we don't reboot. Before learning of Tomas and his work which is more widespread than people know, I did not see a way through this time of societal breakdown. Our civilization is in collapse and if we don't reinvent our society, we are finished. Tomas and his associates provide a way through our morass.
