I was looking for the solution to the problem of dying mother leaf and knew you would have the answer! I appreciate the dime and quarter comparison s. Now my new. Question is. , how long do you usually keep the newly potted healthy babies in the greenhouse before putting them out on regular shelf? Thank you again.
Glad it was helpful! It depends on their overall condition, the stronger ones usually grow faster, they can be gradually transitioned to open air within 3-4 weeks. The smaller ones may take longer, usually I wait until they have grown 1-2 rows of new leaves. Check out my wick watering video, for the size of the starter plant, the one I plant on a wick.
Appreciate your Very thorough instructions.
Another very helpful and informative video. I had many leaves rot after trimming them. Will try the cinnamon trick next time. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

@@grayturtleviolets thank you! I would have .put them out too soon. .
Do you keep your grow light on all day and night?
I keep it on for 10 hours a day. To bloom, African Violets normally need at least 8-12 hrs of light, they also need 8 hrs of darkness per day.
Maşallah çok tatlı bebekler
Thank you!
I put mine in water. The roots started and now the mother leaf is dead. But no baby leafs yet. Now what?
If the mother leaf dies before producing babies, end of story - so sorry about that! It must have been not strong enough to produce, to begin with.
Maşallah çok tatlı lar
Great tutorial ❤ TYFS
Never heard of using cinnamon. I will get the yarn and a set of tweezers. You were excellent 🎉
