I think what will happen is instead of discussing triumph name, people will discuss about trident, tiger, rocket etc.
And triumph could sell lower cc bikes in Asian market, and using that as cash cow they could make top end bikes without worrying about economical sustainability.
I agree with what you just said, what is the purpose of owning a brand if everyone has it. But is surely going to motivate Indian brands to keep prices more aggressive, overall win win situation for customers. In my opinion this stand is not new, BMW has already got its 310 series in the market. Rather than selling these products are meant to draw customers to the showroom.
Would you pls suggest a crash guard for versys 650 ...and a good mid ankel riding boot ..m bit confused ...budget 20 for crash guard...10 to 12 for boots...thanks in advance

You are 100% right, diluting the brand for sales is a tradeoff but if you take example of Apple, they decreased the prices in last 10 years but still brand value exist because they did not hampered the quality. I think if Triumph doesn’t hamper the quality then it will be able to retain its brand value even after minimising the price.

Brand dilution will happen a lot and people might not purchase triumph bigger bikes. There is no brand premium levied so these bikes will become common on road and it will saturate to the point that people will not be interested to buy these anymore.
Just one point i want to say,
At end of the day earning money is matter only, they can diluted their triumph brand value in India only seeing the success of Royal Enfield in India, & they can maintain their primium brand value all over the world by charging much more premium for their 400cc bike that's why triumph said they will lunch it's 400cc motorcycle with European price tag in 2024
15-20 years ago only upper middle class or rich people used to own Royal Enfield bike in india but now every tom dick Harry one RE

Sir Ji....I for one never goes on Brand......as for me what matters is value for my hard earned money. Its good to see the so called BIG BRANDS are coming down to the Indian customer expectations level and giving tough competition to Indian & Japanese established brands. Now the customer is the king and depending on each ones Value For Money quotient the individual decides accordingly.
Now your point of Brand diluting its value is a debatable topic & I respect your point of view but don't agree to it.
Today Volkswagen who owns Audi & Porche & Bentley & Lamborghini & Bugati & Ducati.....is a bigger brand then Mercedes and BMW.
Tata Automobiles is a bigger brand than Land Rover.
Samsung is a bigger brand than Apple IPhone.
I for one would rather own shares of Apple then owning an IPhone.....😂😂😂.
In customer eye bugati is way way bigger then volkswagen.. as they are different brands… but same company..it’s maya be a dream for many to own polo but fantasy to own a chiron… I agree with all you…I just shared my thoughts

Hi Sir, please share your thoughts about Kawasaki W175, all details like fuel efficiency economy, maintenance, spares cost & how is it for long term use for around 15 years.....
I liked the bike good fit and finish!! as a kawasaki bike dont compare spares with indian brands but will not be that high

1. Triumph makes it a single-cylinder bike with 400cc, which generally they don't make they prefer twin. So brand value is not diluted. In short, brand value se pet nehi varega abb....wo jamana khatam hone ko he. Isilia ek time ke super brand avi middle-class brand he.
2. We Indians have a fair enough craze that Triumph, and especially Bajaj understands very well. Bajaj from Chetak to Pulsar's journey proved it well. We need more with less price. So they make it.
3. Monopoly should be broken. Enfield gradually shifted from the Bullet series to Hunter with low price, less weight, and modern charm. So the market share Enfield holds, which every brand tries to capture some portion with their brand and products. The philosophy is If Indians love Enfield, which provides low-quality spare parts, then why do Indians not love new entrants with much more specs?
4. Indian brands lack Serious R&D, so if we see Hero made Karisma with the help of Honda. TVS with Suzuki and BMW and Bajaj with Kawasaki; KTM, Now Triumph. So without foreign R&D, our company is limited to 200cc only.
Last but not least, We Indians have the brain power to deal with what lord Krishna said Ahankar and let them down from the world market leaders to our own land in such a way that they understand it as a business model. As we all know, for Jaguar and Land Rover, what Tata did. Love for new entrants and our philosophy of life. The Indians.

This whole pricing things will be factual once we get to see actual on road price which as of now doesnt seems competetive as for speed 400 dealers are coating 3.38 on road mumbai which is expensive then dominor and also royal enfileds and even from Harley. Who has made an impact we will come to know from october
One strategy could be building customer base.Indian youngsters get introduced to this brand and as the income goes up in his career and he is interested in biking he could own bigger Triumph in future.With Highway infrastructure improving touring will become culture and these folks will graduate to higher CC bikes.Bajaj extraordinary success with collabaration KTM and Triumph owning both sides of the market.18 to 50 any age group there is a bike for you.😊😊😊😊😊

Hi Sir, I'm 40+ & Looking for all in bike, like 1 Garaje Bike......before this Triumph Speed & Scrambler I listed Vstrom 250 & Kawasaki W175......my priorities are for city commuting as well as rare Highway Touring with some off road patches ...... with low maintenance & good fuel efficiency.......look wise I prefer Retro Look, because this is my Last purchase, and should ne at least 250cc........some how Triumph Scrambler 400 X ticks all my needs but, the only problem is both service & purchasing cost is out of my budget......please suggest if any options

I can sense what you are trying to say but it is not coming across correctly to the viewers. Brands, if they watch this video, may also hike up their prices. I have friends who are jumping to buy TRIUMPH SPEED 400 .Can you imagine the happiness of a honda shine owner to buy a Triumph 400? unimaginable. Finally , No offence intended . You are doing just great.
Branding is not necessary competition is important,then why triumph collab with bajaj that should only do what it was doing before bunch of twin cylinder so called branded bikes the new on road charges revealed whether it is a rumour its not worth it disgusting delivery ,road tax ,rto,insurance,intro kit useless pricing just a garbage like other bikes .Ex showroom is low but still onroad and dealership adding these usless prices its a garbage

It's not about pricing have to understand logic behind of pricing a 400 cc with 6bsi compliance brands facing difficulty in providing affordable pricing brands major earning comes from accessories and servicing, and companies doing price cuts with quality on name of brands we are excited about it but in long run it will impact business as a common people we enjoy this but as a company no company play with their brand name pricing is just unique selling point once ppl started depending on it they will start charging premium either we wish or not we have to pay for that 😂😂... Falcon is talking about that not about increasing price or supporting any brand 😂😂...

There was a need for strong competition to all those Royal Enfield bikes, they had complete monopoly and shear arrogance and pathetic service... Now buyers have great choice
Hi Sir, it's already above 3 Lakh on road in Karnataka. It's 3.38 Lakh.......now Triumph dealers are already started showing their Premium Brand Image... .....
Its 2.60 Lakh in Chandigarh.
They are asking 2.90 lakhs in Kolkata. I had a conversation with the dealer myself.
Company hasn't released the official on road prices yet. There's a statement from Bajaj, it'll be released on July 10th

On the Triumph yes to an extent because the Indian version has more bulky tail tidy as against to the model unvieled in England which has sleeker plastic tail tidy

I said thin red line.. I am not saying where is that... And cheapest BMW is approx 70k more then this and 100 cc less if I am not wrong... But asi said everyone has an opinion I respect them
koi badiya price nahi h sir. on road 3 lakhs+ jaa raha and online book karoge aur in case book nhi hui toh 2000 bhi gye aapke. i have tried it and lost 2000 and bajaj and triumph are not even bothered.

bhai dont book it online paise kha jayenge tumare. go to showroom ask them on road then only buy this bike. scam bhot tagda chala rakha hai. bajaj aur triumph koi responsibility nhi lenge in case you pay online and bike doesnt get booked.
