That's almost 10 billion pounds. Absolutely the Russians out fought the Germans but they did it with supplies sent to them by the Allies.
I know that big time! Stalin admitted to deliberately sacrificing 750,000 Soviet troops to delay a possible Axis attack on Moscow in the summer of 1941. I watched a documentary about Stalin’s role in WWII in World War II Behind Closed Doors: Stalin, the Nazis and the West.
She fought for her homeland and her family, friends and neighbors, not for Stalin. I agree that Stalin was worse than Hitler. Hitler killed those he identified as enemies of the State. Stalin killed his own citizens.
Miss Zenkova fought for the Allies and she fought well. Ignoring her incredible and brave courage because Stalin was in power is ridiculous. The millions of civilians and military that died in the Soviet Union was largely due to starvation, disease, & not having enough decent weapons.

@@KohalaLover The invaders were young men like you and me. Yes, she also killed SS members, but her actions killed many regular soldiers as well. Partisan warfare is unlawful, thats why I can understand the massive reprisals after it.
