Olymsky is an urban-type settlement in the Kastorensky district of Kursk region of Russia.
Forms of the same name municipality of the village secondary school with the status of urban settlement as the only settlement in its composition
Located on the olym River (don basin), 4 km South of the district center of the village of Castor. Railway platform 158 km on the line Voronezh - Kursk - Kiev. 2 km to the West of the village is the railway station Castorena-New on the Elets - Valuiki (Donbass).
