- You probably think guys in the special forces get hours and hours of combatives training, right? Wrong…bit.ly/2NokHGg
Truth is, they learn a very condensed yet deadly effective method of fighting designed so it can be mastered as quickly as humanly possible.bit.ly/2NokHGg
I know this cause my buddy Todd is ex-SpecOps and SWAT. And he’s never shared this before now. However he felt that with violence on the rise he needed to give you access to it asap..

I love Dr Yang's of teaching. He is so relaxed...
I bought the Tai Chi Qigong for beginners and martial arts applications DVD, I can really recommend it if you want to learn Tai Chi.
Dr. Yang explains the forms plus the history of Tai Chi. I love learning Tai Chi this way.
He always assumes you encounter a street fighter.
And he teaches external martial arts & internal martial arts (using your Qi)
He is one of the best teachers I've come across. I already am a black belt in judo and Jiu Jitsu but this Tai Chi Qigong is awesome!
Thank you!
I think this is "chi na" or joint locks. Chi na is used in all Chinese internal martial arts. Can be practiced so both partners are growing. One applying, one stretching
Thank you so much for you excellent demonstrations.
Great video, excellent instruction I am in a traditional jujitsu class, and we add this to our techniques. I was in Hapkido before and one day will return; but I love this does it work yes why former bouncer, and Cook County Sheriff, but you need to practice a lot for smoothness and have to be fast. In a fight not the first thing, get out of the way and take advantage of opponents mistakes- thanks.
Eat shit cop
Great techniques and great details. Thanks so much for your videos. You are the great Master also.

I like these moves, you can just diffuse the situation quickly.
love it! awesome techniques,,,,,thanks for sharing this with us.
Thanks Bro
Thank you for this video. Dr.Yang is an awesome Chin-na Master instructor.
This was a great introduction to basic chin na from Sifu Ming which have also study from his books in the past too I teach combative martial science which I have taken chin na and modified it for practical application for street.
Tai Chi Chuan in self defence-awesome.
Excellent..marvellous..you are great man..
Thanks for sharing self defense technique....your great instructor....i want to learn personally
It is so interesting how techniques where developed in distinct martial arts, and evolved in different ways according to its purposes in spite of been in aikido or in a Chinese martial art.
first tech. he does is Nikkyo in Aikido, it is our second technique that we train
Thank you, sir. Very informative.
I've known about CHIN-NA, for decades .
World renowned and faith to law enforcement. I was an FBI clerk, in '88-'91 San Diego , ca..
I know agents who use it, when they have to.
Awesome tecniques
I've actually had the honor to be Dr Yang's demo partner or as I call it being the poor sap in the receiving end. These techniques are very painful to the receiver and even when he takes it easy on you, it is not fun. My arms and shoulders would ache for a couple of days afterwards. What is not apparent watching this on video is that Dr. Yang's movements are incredibly smooth and fast. When you stand facing him to attack, you just don't see it happening but you do feel the pain.

I can tell from the demo its very painful.
Q
those that question these techniques should go train with this instructor. he is teaching techniques that are taught in steps which is proper at a learning pace. I'm sure once you train with him and he twist you up you'll be a true believer!!

It has other names to but it is the same thing it has strikes, blocks, throws, takedowns, pressure points.
nice thanks!!!
Great!!
Like jeetkundo this techniques can be used extensively in street fighting but the practitioner must know how to make the transition from one technique to another.
What the this my first time watching martial arts video but I feel like I already knew these techniques. Am I a reincarnation of a martial master or something 😂
Hapkido, good instructional video.
I'm sure that the Master is simply presenting the Mechanics of these techniques and has presented them in their most basic form for the sake of clarity and should be seen as such.
In a Combat situation, anything that takes longer then one second to apply is not advised, however, in one-half a second, you can punch the opponent in the head to give you an additional second to use a Controlling action. When I taught, I referred to that as "Facilitating Compliance".
I don't believe in using 'Techniques', (there are far Superior ways to accomplish the same end goal(s)), but if you choose to use them, then you have to practice while Free Sparring, without Body Armor, or Padded Gear of any sort. You don't have to use full Power or Speed, but you should ALWAYS use Full Contact . . . with the "Opponent" having Full Intent on completing their attack.
It's important to understand that learning to Spot an opening where you can use one, (or more), techniques from a Set of Techniques is a Key Factor in your Training.

It looks like the guys in the black are truly suffering, there is no way that I would have let him demonstrate on me. I'm glad those guys did for educational purposes, but even the demonstration looks brutal
Great Video clip! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Chireetler Dread Free Rule (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning self effective defence moves without the hard work. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend got excellent results with it.

What martial art is this
Good
good technique good jos
cool
These techniques are fantastic for police or security/bouncers when dealing with basic arrests, or escorts with passive resisters. However, they ARE NOT to be used against an active combatant who is fully engaged in harming you, or throwing punches. That portion of this teaching is misleading and dangerous because you absolutely cannot "catch" a punch out of midair while the guy is swinging and turn it into one of these holds. You CAN however, take a person who is grabbing you or reaching toward you and put him on the ground with these techniques safely without harming the person (unless you want to). Thus, they are good for PD and security folks. The techniques ARE accurate and EXTREMELY effective for those uses if practiced OFTEN and you have developed FAST reflexes. Bottom line, great to add to your martial arts tool kit for stage 1 confrontations, but not an "all encompassing" martial art, as there is no such thing.
***** I'm sorry, do you see "qin-na" labeled on this video anywhere? I thought it read "martial arts techniques."
bobbie joe shmo The point you made is spot on. Wagner, McCann, Christensen, Buresse, and many other instructors (both traditional martial arts and combatives) state exactly as you did. Street fighters come at you trying to gut you like a pig. They come, typically, up from under, and not as an ice pick, slash, etc. The same with punches: you try and grab them to do a lock, you are piece meal and on a trip to a hospital emergency.

Not bad at all.
Coool

Best
What about the second arm. People resist u know. And just because u got out their grip doesn't mean they'll open their hand. Seems like u need serious strength and nimbleness plus you'll have to be small to. Where is the resistance.
Some r kinda cool.
wat does "why away" mean??#/ heard samn like that..
May I: 'Right away!'...meaning, instantly...[it is his accent..!}... I hope its helpful.
