Looks like it was a good day for your video and thank you for such a great video, love the rock and roll of the train owing to it going slow keep them coming
Great job.. I really enjoyed the video and your comments. I like you said you backed up away from the rail I am like you, I don't know how they stay on the rails..Its great you do this because we Fulton County residents don't have many places to see trains I love the clip of the train crossing the bridge at KeoKuck. Do you ever sell shots like that ?
I have not thought about selling shots, but that would be something i would consider doing now. Thanks for the comment and yes, I haven’t seen much on youtube about local trains so I’m hoping to be the one that fills that gap. I also have recently purchased a drone so hopefully I can get some even cooler shots with that whenever I do this again!
Mile post 200 is the former community of LaCrosse. It used to have a grain elevator, ergo the reason for the siding. Yes, they are territorial and will call the cops for trespassing. At Burnside, they used to have a coke machine that was called the "Burnside Diner; by the crews. The large spark arrestors are the result of the railroad setting fires one day from Elvaston to Burnside.
It’s really by word of mouth that you know they’re running. The only reason I found out about it was from one of my friends. I think there also be a Facebook group about the railroad.
Great Video! That bridge shot in la harpe is really cool! If you ever have a chance to check out Snow Train by Roger Holms, there is a clip of a TP&W train in 1983 crossing it headed east!

I wish I was able to catch this railroad before they get rid of the gp20s. It's not far from me I never know when anything running however.
